I finished race walking jogging walking...3 mi under 1 hr. Knee did not hurt! Dr. Van Gorp did excellent job since 6 mo ago I wasn't walking!

He operated on me 18 yrs ago did a very good job he learnt some things from my operation.i learnt alot from he and his staff

my surgery was in Amarillo, I broke my hip in an ultralight plane crash

Dr Van Gorp did a total hip replacement on me in 2004 following a small aircraft crash Where I suffered a broken hip. Twelve years later I have no pain no problems at all, Dr Van Gorp is a great Doc, my hero he knows what he's doing. The man can fix anything, my hip was in bad shape, botched by another Doc, you can trust the man with your life!

On a different site, I have heaped praise on Dr. Van Gorp for his amazing work at UTMC in 2001 and 2002, fixing the failed hip replacements performed for me 1993 in Detroit, Michigan. Still, in 2016, I can do almost anything I want to do at age 79!

Dr VanGorp is my hero. Ten years ago, he performed extensive bilateral hip reconstructions on me, over the course of one year; he tackled an orthopedic nightmare in my hips, a task that several Toledo Ohio surgeons turned down. Cornell took my case, and knocked it out of the ballpark, bases loaded, bottome of the ninth inning, two outs, full count, my hips down by 3 runs :) I consider him my lifetime friend because of this, and I would turn to him again without hesitation; he got me walking again at a time that was extremely grave for me; odds completely stacked against me; he gave me every ounce of energy, every detail of his cummulative education, every second of his caring professional experience. My hero.

Great surgeon. I have worked 20 years investigating doctors for the Ohio Medical Board of Ohio, My surgery experience with Dr. Vangorp was the best outcome. I'm doing great.
