Professional and very friendly office. Dr. Brame is incredibly comprehensive with her exam and is wonderful about explaining things with laymen's terms. I highly recommend the service, the follow up and stellar performance of both Dr. Brame and her staff.

I've been a patient for about six years. There is no way I would change.

Iâ??ve been wearing glasses since I was 6 or 7 years old. As the years passed, my eyesight got progressively worse. This was especially concerning as I eventually became a surgeon, a profession that requires excellent eyesight. Although I managed over the years with powerful prescription glasses, my right eye really started getting bad, and my left eye wasnâ??tâ?? too far behind. I could barely read street signs, and I even struggled to read a restaurant menu. The phrase â??Doctor, heal thyselfâ?? comes to mind, but I was scared to undergo surgery for fear of what might happen. Earlier this year, my brother referred me to ophthalmologist Dr. Cory Brame. He had a good experience with her, and encouraged me to set up a consultation. Again, I tabled the issue until things got so bad that something just had to be done. I was entering retirement, so I figured I had postponed this decision long enough. I was ready. My son, who is also a physician, independently recommended Dr.… Brame. Since this was the second time I heard her name, I took it as a sign and made my long overdue appointment. As with many things, first impressions are important. Her office was beautifully appointed, and her staff was great. She was competent, professional, and most importantly, made me feel very comfortable from "Day One." She helped me assess my situation with both eyes. While my right eye was beyond repair, she believed she could repair my left eye which was plagued by maturing cataracts. She assured me that doing so would increase my quality of life. Not only was I treated very well through each step of the process, she put me at ease about something that had made me anxious for years. This was no small task for a man who had been struggling with his eyesight as far back as he could remember. Now, thanks to her skills and a successful surgery, my eyesight is much better. I can actually see quite a bit without glasses. Itâ??s quite a remarkable difference. There are many mistakes Iâ??ve made in my life, and many great decisions Iâ??ve made as well. One mistake I made was waiting too long to see Dr. Brame. However, one great decision I made was when I picked up the phone and made the first appointment.
