Dr. Craig Allan Karoll, MD

I have finally found the courage to write this review. Please try to find another Psychiatrist before going to this man. He spends more time talking about politics than your issues. In my case, he did try different medications to try to see what would work for me but when I missed an appointment (due to an emergency with my daughter), he became upset and told me I was playing games with him. He then told me he refused to see me anymore and to go and find someone else to play games with. It was like he switched personalities right before my eyes. This sent me in a deeper depression than I was already in for months.

Dr. has a bad attitude. Not someone that makes me feel comfortable.

Dr. Craig Karoll has been a godsend to me. I found him about 7 years ago. He is the first psychiatrist I have seen that actually listened to what I had to say and truly cared about me and truly wanted to help me. He did an extensive history on my past treatment and medications and therapy consults during my first visit. He made his own diagnosis based on the facts he found in our conversation instead of just going on what all the other doctors had told me all my life. All the psychiatrists I had seen in the past only wanted to throw medication at me. Dr. Karoll is thorough, genuine, trustworthy and the best psychiatrist I have ever seen (and that is saying alot since I've been in treatment since I was a young child and seen many many therapists and psychiatrists over the years). The office staff is wonderful. They are very friendly and always willing to help.
