Dr. Craig Alan Schiffner, MD

Schiffner comes off as a real "nice guy", but when presented with concerns (large or small), he quickly refers his patients to a specialist without any effort on his part to evaluate the problem and/or conduct an assessment. More importantly, he has no interest in reviewing or coordinating any findings from various specialist. (In fact, he will frequently dismiss their findings despite lab work and other hard data!) Honestly, he appears disinterested in medicine, and, ultimately, disinterested in his patients. He is not a doctor who will partner with his patient or specialists. He is ok with blood pressure, cholesterol, and any other basics that materialize in a doctor 101 visit, but mild to moderately complex medical care appears to be out of his scope of practice. On second thought, I wouldn't even trust him with a routine physical. He is likely to overlook or dismiss any areas of concern.

I've been with Dr. Schiffner for over 15 years. He is always courteous, friendly, concerned and thoughtful. I have found is his medical judgment to be invariably sound.
