Dr. Craig Naoshi Tsuboi, DO

My only contact with this mean-spirited pedant was by telephone in connection with questioning his choice of medical terminology for a cause of death he listed on a relative’s death certificate. Mind you, he had no connection to the relative, whatsoever, other than reading medical records and information from third parties contained in those records, upon which to base his determination. He outright lied to me as to what he was required to do in making his determination and had the temerity to insinuate that I might be suggesting he lie on an official document, which I never came close to suggesting and told him so. The man is small-minded, vindictive and, obviously, delights in the fact that you have no recourse to his determination. He is a living personification of the worst traits possible in a medical professional, so consult him at your own risk. I would also venture a guess that he has only a passing acquaintance with the Hippocratic Oath: “First, do no harm”.

This MD is awesome and knowledgeable about current treatments and Meds that actually work! Straight to the point and honest!!

Terrible bedside manner and is quickly irritated by a question. Extremely inpatient. I did not like him at all.

This man was very rude and disrespectful and mean,he will never care for my mom again,I feel sorry and sad I left her in the hands of this man.......never again

My husband was admitted to Sutter RV and Dr. Tsuboi was the hospitalist for both days. We were so thankful. I'm sorry for the other patient's reviews here, but this doctor was right-on with the diagnosis despite other doctor's ideas. He took as much time as we need to talk about the situation, he didn't make us feel rushed or unimportant, and to be honest I wish he had a regular practice because he is terrific.

Unfortunately we had no choice and it was his rotation at the Hospital. When there was obvious miscommunications and we were sitting with with my father and his regular Oncologist waiting at his pleasure to talk and clear up his misquoting of other doctors. He refused to talk to the patient, family and Oncologist at anytime. Needless to say my father was discharged with orders completely wrong from what his Oncologist agreed at the patient bedside. Our entire treatment plan was set back.

If you are elderly, do not have this man as your MD as a Hospitalist at Sutter Roserville. He made serious misjudgments on my mother which caused her demise. Very odd man!!!!
