Dr. Mustafa Ammar, MD

My 82 yr old mother is a patient of Dr. Ammar. Her prescription of pain pills was stolen by someone who helps take care of her in her home. I am her daughter and filed a police report and explained this to Dr. Ammar's office. The police officer explained to me that with a report number the Dr. could refill the prescription. For whatever reason they will not refill her prescription. They just say we will call you back and that call never comes. She is sitting at home in pain due to neuropathy in her legs and feet. My mother is not a drug seeker, dealer or abuser. She is just an old lady who suffers from severe pain. Common sense tells me that this is a no brainer. Why would any doctor allow an elderly person to sit at home in pain????? I am quite sure if this were Dr. Ammar's mother or anyone else's mother in this office this would not be happening. So why is this happening to my mother? You have failed your patient.
