Dr. Cynthia Darlene Barry

I called to set up a new patient visit. On paper (online profile looked good). After being put on hold for more than 6 minutes, I was asked what insurance I had. When I responded that Medicare with a supplement plan. I was told that they did not take Medicare, that I would have to pay in advance then wait for Medicare to pay me back. I was very upset in particular because the doctor said that she was a geriatric specialist. That is a complete disregard of the geriatric population.

After 20 years I had to find a new doctor. Found Dr. Barry! Have seen her twice and really feel comfortable. Nice staff, friendly yet professional. Dr. Barry very caring and listens!!

Came in for assistance, was explicitly lied to and treated badly by staff and NP. Ended up escalating to Dr. Barry where I did get a resolution. Not worth the headache and added stress. I was initially satisfied with her treatment as her apology seemed sincere, and I received the treatment I was initially denied. But after reviewing multiple other complaints - she is fully aware of how unprofessional her staff is and consciously allows harmful and incompetent treatment in her office.

I have been to many Doctors in my 70 years of life. Dr. Barry is the sweetest, most caring Doctor I have ever had! I live in AJ but all the extra miles to get to her is so worth it.

They are very nice. I went on Tuesday they did a culture and not sure if it came back on Wed night or Thurs. Called they to call me as soon as they got report, never did. I have been in pain since Monday. I received an antibiotic on Tuesday that made me sick, they wanted to wait for the culture but t b eyes never called on Thursday when they received the report.. I'm still hurting bad..I think this is so wrong of them. Why don't I have my antiobiotic.? I've been off work since Wednesday.

I'm new to Arizona and needed a doctor, I saw so many great reviews for Dr. Barry and her staff and I have to say that I see why. I had a visit with her PA Kristen Robinson and she is AMAZING!!! She is kind, caring, and patient (no pun intended) she took her time to listen to my concerns and made me feel at ease and comfortable. The staff was friendly and inviting. Thank you so much for all of your care!!!!

Dr Barry is great! She takes the time to discuss your needs/concerns. She's very easy to talk to and speaks in laymans terms.

I saw Dr. Barry 2 weeks ago for the first time and she was just wonderful. She listened to me and spent a good deal of time on my issues which were complicated. She is very knowledgeable and figured out what was going on. Yes the wait was long but if she shows others the same care as she showed me it is worth the wait. Just know you might need to wait and be prepared. I am recommending her to my family and friends. She cares, she really cares.
