I was going to and had written a very long tirade of her and what she did and said. The thing is though that I have worked hard to forgive her. I know I will but she was not nice at all. She assumed many things about me that were not true. When I got fed up at her I said that's it I'm leaving. She turned to my husband and said okay I will talk to him. WHAT... umm.. He goes with me.. and I really don't think you want to take him on... yeah.. Never again will I sit in a doc seat with a hope that they all care. She did not care about me in the least.

sad to think that one of the nicest people I know and love would be treated and talked to by someone who was soppose to be caring and a professional...absolutely NO stars for bedside manner

During a recent follow up exam, for a condition my Mom is experiencing after a routine eye procedure, Dr. Self (in the presence of two of her co-workers) told my mother -don't you know that there are people in the waiting room and what they wouldn't give to have your eyesight-. I'm am appalled! As if my Mom, I never hear complain about any getting older aches & pains, is telling a "story" about her eyesight. Dr. Cynthia Self, you should be ashamed of yourself!

Dr. Self has an amazing, caring, bedside manner. She came in early every day for about a week when I had a freak eye accident a year ago, and was so professional and knowledgeable that I would recommend her to anyone.

Wonderful, caring doctor. Spent a lot of time explaining my problem and setting up a care plan. Staff is very kind and professional, yet caring. Staff are happy and seem to enjoy their jobs. Waiting time in the office is pretty reasonable compared to other busy specialists I've been to. I like that they didn't do an unnecessary glasses exam just to charge me more, as other eye places had done to me in the past.

Insurance would not cover , it was a NON emergency which I told them and asked for a regular appointment. Was send a bill for emergency anyway $ 50, never even did my eye examination for glasses, wanted to make another appointment for me. Guess she needs more money than me .Will NEVER go back.Rude people
