Dr. Dana Vucinich, MD

When I had my child I had a terrible Thyroid flare. Was sent to This dr. She prescribed a medicine that ran ruin in my body, then sent me to another Dr because she could not fix it. 11 years later I am finally getting help and properly diagnosed.

Dr. Vucinich was professional and an excellent endocrinologist. Manages my diabetes as no other physician has been able to do.

Made rude comments, did not order tests,barely felt thyroid. After I said I'd prefer non-synthetic drug, she decided I don't require any and told me how tribes were found with levels of 100 and 20 lb goiters. Dismissed me and told them schedule in 4 months! Never again!!! She is nuts!

I have been having issues with my thyroid over the past year. Two months ago, my doctor had me get blood work and an ultrasound done for my thyroid. The blood work came back normal, but the ultrasound showed that I have multiple nodules and cyst on the thyroid area. I was recommended to Dr. Vucinich and had to wait 2 months to see her. When I went in to see her, she immediately started asking me all these questions about what I eat, when I eat, what I drink, do I work out, how often, etc. Basically did nothing about my thyroid, even though I was supposed to have a biopsy done. I had no biopsy done and she basically stated that I was eating too many calories and not getting enough exercise. She also stated this to my fiance about his health and I thought that was very unprofessional of her. I just felt like the whole appointment was a waste of my time and I plan on making another appointment with a different doctor.

She is a rip off and rude. Doesn't listen to anything you tell her! You not only pay to see her but also you pay another bill because the hospital charges a fee for you entering their building! Went one time and will NOT go back! A know it all or so she thinks!

She is extremely rude and obviously an unhappy person who is not very bright. She does not own the practice but is an employee of Jameson Hospital; therefore, she does not care if you ever come back again or not, since she receives the same salary if she sees 5 patients or 500. You will not get a call with your bloodwork or test results for 3 weeks. Recommend you pick up the results yourself and take them to your NEW doctor.

I would not take my worst enemy to this so called doctor. She does not listen to her patients only reads what the labs say.
