Dr. Dana John Wright, MD

Dr. Wright is a very good and caring physician.

I have been his patient for more than 25 years and have been happy to recommend Dr. Wright to coworkers and family. He is caring, conservative in his approach and an excellent diagnostician. He diagnosed my celiac disease when the GI specialist failed to do so ! For that alone, I will always be so grateful. Also, he helped care for my mom and confirmed a blockage in her carotid artery which led to surgery (I could not get cardiologist to do anything beyond ordering thallium treadmills) which saved her from a possible stroke. He has been a rock, and I appreciate him more than words can express.

I like Dr Wright and think he's a good doctor, but the staff in the office sucks! You can't get a live person on the phone anymore without calling back 50 times and then you;re put on hold. Getting a simple refill is almost impossible. I've been trying to get a refill on a med that I've been taking for years and there is apparently a serious lack of communication between the staff and the doctor. Wallgreens has faxed The Medical Group several times to get my refill and no one at The Medical Group has responded. No communication from them at all. I don't want to get another doctor because DR Wright has been my personal doctor for many years, but because of the incompetence of a uncaring staff, I might have to.

I saw Dr. Wright because my normal doctor was out of the office, and now I think I am going to ask for him to be my primary physician. He is a wonderful, compassionate, and prompt individual who really understands the healthcare field.
