Dr. Daniel Anghel, MD

Would never come back to this office again!! My husband went there for a regular wellness check up, then about a month later, we got billed for nearly $1000, about $300 for the office visit, and $700 for the lab work. Even though our insurance covers part of it, we still need to pay few hundred dollars for a regular wellness check which was supposed to be FREE every year. The explanation we got from the "office manager" was that because my husband didn't pay any co-pay, that was considered FREE, and then I told her that my insurance told me we weren't billed for wellness check up, they billed us for something else which was a lot more expensive (she thought I didn't know that yet), then she said it was a miscommunication between the front desk and my husband, and there was nothing they can do about it (which I understood, because the claim already went through, but she didn't seem sorry). Our past experiences with other medical offices, the receptionist would always help us to check… what are covered by our insurance so we could pay the least out of our pocket. We understand that is optional service, not mandatory, but my husband specifically told them he just needed the basic check up which was free every year, if they are not sure, they should have told him to call the insurance then come back, but instead, they took him in, and did a very through check up, then bill us. They took advantage of my husband's language barrier, and their attitude after the incident really disgusted us. Would not recommend this place to anyone else!! (but I think they don't really care)

Simple looking office with friendly front desk staff and thoughtful doctor. Dr Anghel was very patient, thorough, knowledgeable and funny! No wait time...I was seen promptly after patient before me.

This review is not on Dr. Anghel but rather his staff. I was recommended to go to him by a friend and when I called as a new patient who was recently in the hospital and needed to follow up with a doctor asap they were unsympathetic and unaccomadating. Could not give me an appointment for another two weeks. Did not offer to fit me in if someone cancelled or anything. Truly disappointed and Dr. Angel needs to remind his phone staff of politeness and how to communicate more efficiently on the phone with new and existing patients.

He is brutally honest but helped me get myself into much better health. That's what you want in a doctor, the hard truth.
