Most of the other negative reviews are correct. Another "holier than thou" complex" From his attitude and lack of respect, I don't think my dog wold be comfortable seeing him. Awesome office staff, but that doesn't help with his shortcomings. Do yourself a favor - GO ELSEWHERE !!!

The reviews are right what a rude, self-centered, disrespectful, complete waste of a D.r Having practices in 4 diff states should be a warning sign. Would not take my dog to this inconsiderate ^&*%^$

Horrible reconstruction flap surgery experience with Dr Barker. Not a detailed explanation doctor at all. Erlanger outpatient surgery center released my husband while he was still bleed profusely. Ended up calling 911 and was taken to memorial ER after I tried for 8 hrs to stop bleeding. Memorial stopped bleeding within 5 minutes by using gauze like they use for combat wounds. Spent 14 hrs in ER getting him stable . Dr Baker refused to come to er wanted him transferred to Erlanger. Erlanger had no open beds. On follow up visit with dr barker he did not want to discuss what had transpired and was even reading his phone as I was explaining our concerns. Another surgery on the nose in this flap surgery procedure will be in 2 weeks. I would not recommend this doctor at all. Or this duty center at reliable.

I went to him last year for breathing issues and he recommended the Latera Implant. He didn’t go over the risk factors and I ended up with a huge bump on the side of my nose. He promised it will go away and said I should massage and tape my nose. Well, six months later bump is still there and it feels like it is eroding the thin skin covering it. He offered no resolutions or help and said that he could not “meet my level of perfection”. Wow, I’m now disfigured with like a permanent huge bump on the side of my nose and still can’t breathe and yes, he didn’t meet my level of perfection.... he didn’t even make the scale. My experience with him is the worse I ever had with a doctor. He may be talented surgeon ( I have no idea) but he is missing a big chunk of what makes a good doctor( empathy, bedside manner etc...). I ended up going a wonderful plastic surgeon who took out the latera implant and the huge granuloma that formed around it and fixed my breathing and gave me a beautiful… nose. Now, he’s the total package. ( Dr Robb jr in Alpharetta)

Dr. Barker knew exactly what I needed right away, but was very patient, as I was reluctant to have surgery, and never tried to pressure me. Eventually, I came to realize he was right, had sinus surgery, and wish I had done it years ago! I've slept through the night ever since and when I needed to see an ENT for another reason, I immediately made my appointment with him. This time, I didn't need surgery or even medicine. He assured me everything was fine and spent plenty of time talking and explaining to me. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Barker and his staff took excellent care of me before and after the procedure. The procedure went as well as he anticipated and expected. No pain during procedure and recovery. Very little discomfort during healing. The balloon sinuplasty was effective and I have gained most of my airway passage back. Thanks to Dr. Barker and his staff and the Anesthesiologist! I give highest rating and highest recommendation!

This is worse dr I have seen he is rude and has no professional courtesy whatsoever is loud and very inconsiderate he almost had my wife in tears I should have cussed him out and got up and leave
