My 90 year old Dad had his knee replaced by Dr. Chan. I can't say enough great things about the whole experience. Dad no longer needs a walker. He's dancing at "happy hour" at his ALF. He has a new lease on life! Dr. Chan is not only a gifted surgeon, he's so personable on top of it. He took his time and explained everything that surgery would entail. He didn't push surgery on us at all. He just gave us all the information and said to go home and discuss it and let them know. This was the best medical experience we could have wished for.

After two long years of watching my daughter suffer with constant pain and limping, finding Dr. Daniel Chan was truly the best thing that ever happened to our family. Making the decision for a hip replacement at only 15 years old was terrifying as parents, but from the very first appointment, Dr. Chan gave us hope, confidence, and comfort. Dr Chan and his staff were wonderful to work with from start to finish for my hip replacement! After consulting 2 other specialists, he listened and answered my questions throughly. The minimally invasive approach had me walking with a walker 2 hours after surgery and without a walker 2 weeks post op. Worth the 2 hour drive from SWFL and I'd hop on a plane in a minute if I had to!

During the first quarter of 2026, Dr. Chan performed bilateral knee replacement surgery on me. The outcome was incredible. Within 7 weeks, I resumed all of my sport and fitness activities. Of course, I was modifying and working within a range that was challenging but very safe. Dr. Chan and his office staff were exceptionally good in all aspects of communication, logistics and patient care. My surgery and brief stay at Memorial Hospital South was excellent. I highly recommend Dr. Chan and am grateful for his expertise.

Dr. Chan runs the most flawless office I have ever been associated with. The level of care and concert is par to none. Not to mention, that I have run into so many people that have used his services to mend their problems. My surgery went off with any issues and I fully recovered in seven weeks from hip replacement.

Having a hip replacement is a major operation, but Dr. Chan and his entire team made the treatment seamless and the recovery fast and totally successful. From the first appointment until discharge from care, the staff was friendly, attentive, efficient and compassionate. Dr. Chan's surgical skills and dedication to patient care are second to none. I would not even consider a different provider.

Had hip replacement surgery with Dr Chan more than a year ago. Entire process was excellent! Caring and concerned support staff, clean and high tech facilities, and Dr Chan took the time to answer any and all questions. Walking without a cane after 3 days. Physical therapy is key to strong post-op recovery!

Dr. Chan is an amazing person and skilled surgeon. My experience from beginning to end was phenomenal with an outstanding outcome. If they give six stars, I’d give it.

I saw Dr Chan for a right hip replacement in August of 2025. I decided on Dr Chan after extensively researching hip surgeons, & I was impressed with his reviews, education, experience, specialization of hips ( & knees too ), that he is board certified & fellowship trained, that he uses the anterior approach, & that he is a Memorial Healthcare MD. My surgery went great, & I am now 6 weeks post-surgery walking without assistance, & I am pain free in my hip with no restrictions. I still have a slight limp, but that is considered normal as I am still healing. Dr Chan is a very caring physician with a great bedside manner, & he was extremely comforting just prior to when I entered surgery as well as when he followed up with me while I was in recovery. I was also very satisfied with his office, as the wait time was minimal & everyone I encountered was very nice.
