He didn't attach the part correctly, and it broke after 3 days. I kept telling him that something was wrong, and he kept saying that I was doing great. After months of pain, I ended up bowlegged and walking on the edge of my foot. He said 'Women don't like straight legs anyway.' After I said that I was going to see someone who took me seriously, he finally took an x-ray. I thought that it was because the part had broken, and let him re-do the surgery. It still wasn't right. The part had shattered and penetrated every part of my knee, and I now have no patellar tendon. A doctor in Indianapolis looked at the MRI and said several times that he didn't understand how I could even walk. He referred me to a doctor in Chicago, who referred me to the Mayo Clinic. That doctor said that the part hadn't been properly secured. The fix has a low success rate, and if it's not successful they can try it again, cut off your leg above the knee, or insert a rod so that your knee won't bend.

I recommend him to any one I talk to. Had no problems with either knee replacement and he has good bedside manors. I wish more Doctors could be like him, but I guess this is what makes him unique.

I had heard wonderful things in healthcare. So I had him do my hip replacement 10yr ago. Had to get it revised a year ago. Awesome just awesome care.

I had a total knee replaced and the whole experience was great. Staff and Dr. Duluga were wonderful and caring.

Dr Daluga is a wonderful caring Doctor....I had my hip replaced and he did a wonderful job! I am so glad I was refered to him!
