Dr. Daniel William Dubovsky, MD

Excellent, thorough, compassionate. The office runs smoothly, on time.

Dr Dubovsky is one of the most professional and efficient physicians that I have encountered. I have seen many physicians in the past years but I would rate him as one of the best. He is prompt and factual about the concerns of the patient. He also is aware of how the employees do their job and that they are prompt and efficient also.

He is the Man. An extraordinary blend of intellect, compassion, humility and humor. He has shepherded my wife through nearly eight years of care. He e-mails and returns calls well beyond office hours. He's been there for us at virtually all hours of the day. He does not hesitate to encourage us to seek outside counsel; indeed he has sent us to other experts for their input. I would-- and have-- recommend him to anyone seeking an oncologist.

My Mother came to Dr. D. in 2002 with metastatic breast cancer. She wanted to live for 10 more years, and thanks to Dr. D.'s extraordinary care, she got those 10 years. He has a wealth of experience and knowledge combined with a sharp mind and wit. He reads and researches constantly and is aware of the latest options and treatments. He is collaborative and always seeks other opinions and is open to unconventional options if there is data to support their plausibility. He teaches and informs and is unfailingly kind. He does answer email personally and his work ethic is only possible in the energizer bunny. He tailor's his treatment to ensure that it fits the patient. His staff is wonderful. My mother chose to stop treatment about a year ago and died yesterday. I will be grateful to Dr. D. for the rest of my days for giving me so much more time with my mother.

This Doctor is the person you hope you see if you have a problem associated with his expertice. He is what all Doctor's should be, caring, follow-up, at the same time as professional as he could be. I would use him to direct me to other Doctors if needed.

Can't be in better hands. His staff is also outstanding and very personable.

I can not praise Dr D high enough he and his staff were warm, personable and efficient.Examples of his commitment to the person/patient- 1. Dr D provides you with his personal email which HE answers every night.2.Cancer Center of Atlanta's infusion center was booked the week of Thanksgiving. They checked with the Hospitals infusion lab also booked. Dr. D said, "bring an IV pole and put him in my office in my chair and he can watch the tv in my office to have his IVIG." Trying to get the platelet count up for surgery.3. He has real people to answer the phone all day no closed for lunch leave a message, He works through the lunch hour and grab a bite or two between patients.Being a native of Atlanta his South African accent and rapid speech is some times a challenge but he will review till you understand and provide you with the latest articles from reputable sources as "Homework"

I could not ask for a better or more through Physician. Spent three years under his care and here today because of his treatments and interest in my case. I have and will continue to refer friends and others to Dr. Dubovsky for treatment. He is respected by his peers and other Physicians associated with other hospitals in the USA. On his recommendation and advise, I received a stem cell transplant at the medical facilities in Nebraska in 1999-2000. It was a complete success.

Don't ask him questions. Unless its a peer reviewed article that you are refering to...forget it. Don't mention alternative therapies or supplements...because they dont exist in his medical encyclopaedia. There's always pressure to go on with the standard of care, rather than thinking outside the box. Every answer to a question about natural remedies says go to "quackwatch". But the truth is that alot of natural therapies in conjuction with chemo are being used...and he doesnt want to know. So if you want to go to him and feel confident in him, fine. But if you want questions, and concerns answered he not open to that. He may have changed.
