Is this doctor insured ?

I have to agree with other people on this website. I have read the reviews from previous years. I experienced the same issues. My health issue has not gone away clearly, was told to go to work. I was finally able to see the doctor and I will never go back. I can not understand how an office puts a timeline on a illness. Rushed in and out, too fast for me. I have a chronic health issue and needed more time to get better, however my time is up at the office. This is not a place to go for long/short term health issues.

Never saw doctor, been there 5 times begging for help, now infection spread - need disability out from work. Only see PA who does not pay attention( says go to work) or give out medicine - got medicine when had fever 2 months later- when illness spread. Not cleared up -keep having to go to urgent care to beg for medicine. I got worse going here. No one asks you what helps, no follow up, you are left to treat yourself. All I wanted was good medical care.

Dr. Dan, Noreen and staff are all wonderful people. I have been with them since they opened the practice and he has always seen me when I needed him always with good results. I actually look forward to appointments. Steve Hogan

AVOID this doctor, unless you like rudeness, incompetence, seeing only the P.A., waiting forever, and being overcharged illegally. READ other people's reviews also!

Dr. Flaherty is a great doctor if you are a healthy person and your family has no history of serious illnesses. He tries to build a friendship with his patients. I was not provided the proper care when it was desperately needed. On four occasions, I was told there was nothing wrong with me, but yet I was crying everyday I was so sick. I asked for a comprehensive thyroid test, to no avail. I finally fired Dr. Flaherty and started seeing a Holistic Internist. My internist obtained the tests and lab work I needed. He found that I had H. Pylori, Epstein Bar Virus, and Hoshimotoâ??s Disease. He started me on immediately supplements, nutrition, and meds. One month later, I feel so much better than I have the entire time I was seeing Dr. Flaherty. My only regret is that I didnâ??t fire Dr. Flaherty on my first visit. I wouldnâ??t have suffered all of these months needlessly. The first 3 visits, I was not even seen by Dr. Flaherty. I was seen by a nurse. I finally asked why I wasnâ??t… being treated by the doctor since my insurance was paying for the doctor. His patients, who are too sick for him to see personally, are seen by the nurses. Flaherty could not be bothered to come out and meet with me. The staff, I found to be very rude and not helpful. On many occasions, I called the office and requested that the nurse or doctor call me back. This was never done. When I confronted Nancy the nurse, she profusely apologized and said she would speak to her staff immediately. That this was inexcusable behavior on their part. What a joke! I also mentioned this is Dr. Flaherty and he apologized. The next day I called him based on his telling me to do so, but the staff never had him call me back. If you are a patient of Dr. Flaherty, good luck â?? for you are on your own! Also, the office cleanliness leads much to be desired. Dogs running around the office, staff eating lunch while they are talking to you, dirty items on the floor while in the office waiting to be seen by the nurse. The behavior of Dr. Flaherty leads me to believe that he is either not confident in his medical knowledge or has guilt knowing he did not do his job properly. Please do not go to this doctor if there is any chance that you might suffer more then a common cold, he is not fit for anything more advanced then that.

Dr. Flaherty is a great doctor if you are a healthy person and your family has no history of serious illnesses. He puts you at ease and builds a friendship with his patients due to this friendship it makes it hard for others to convince his patients to leave. My uncle was not given the proper care he needed, and passed under the watch of Flaherty, but not by his direct watch because once you have something more then the common cold he is no where to be found. He is lucky to have great nurses who see his patients who are too sick for him to see personally. Now my father is his patient, my father has spent weeks in the hospital, and no sign of Flaherty. After coming to Flaherty after suffering multiple heart attacks Flaherty could not be bothered to come out and meet with him, again he sent one of his nurses. My father will be going in for Open heart surgery, again Flaherty could not be bothered to speak with him even though he was in the office. This behavior leads me to believe… that he is either not confident in his medical knowledge or has guilt knowing he did not do his job properly. Please please whatever you do, do not go to this doctor if there is any chance that you might suffer more then a common cold, he is not fit for anything higher then that.
