Dr. Daniel Thomas Garber, MD

I had an appointment today with Dr. Garber. It's been a long time since I have been able to sit across a desk and actually speak to a doctor who took the time to listen and to assure me that he would do whatever he deemed necessary to help my situation. I was very pleased that I was referred to him by another doctor. He is very thorough and pleasant.

Dr. Garber and the staff at Carolina Sleep Specialists have been so helpful to me as try to get a better nights sleep. I was waking up more times than I realized and after a sleep study and CPAP machine from Dr. Garber, I feel like myself again. I no longer depend heavily on caffeine, and don't drag through my day. Now that I sleep with a CPAP, I wouldn't even take a nap without it-- it makes that much difference! And, now that I think about it, I don't need to nap as often. Everyone at their office listens and cares so much as they match you with what works for you and your sleep. The best part might be the price difference too. I was referred to Dr. Garber through a friend who told me to save the thousands it was going to cost at another practice. On my insurance, the sleep study and CPAP machine were free through Dr. Garber. All my supplies for my machine (hoses, cushions, filters) are all free on Blue Cross Blue Shield of NC. I have only ever paid a co-pay when I see him. I can't… recommend Dr. Garber enough, and now my husband is also his patient.

Great doctor and very personable

I'm a patient of Dr. Garber since 2012. When I started I had a severe snoring problem. Wife did not want to sleep with her because I kept her up. Dr. Garber had the cure with a C-Pac. Best thing since sliced bread. Improved my sleeping min. 95%. I can't say enough about Dr. Garber and his staff. If you want to get an excellent nights sleep. The solution is "Dr. Garber"

This is the best Doctor and staff I have ever dealt with. I wish I would have come here 10 years ago. I do not snore, I sleep better, and now my wife sleeps in the same bed with me again.

He listens with apt attention and then addresses each of the patient's concerns. With polite but professional expertise, he honestly speaks to each aspect of his patient's neurological anomalies and sleep hygiene. At each appointment Dr. Garber offers patients both medical solutions and genuine encouragement to move toward more healthful sleep that, in turn, improves overall health. In… fact, Dr. Garber combines the best of sleep science, innovative technology, and the heart of a caring physician to help his patients find the elusive dream of healthier, restorative sleep can be a dream-come-true!

The sleep center is very beautiful and comfortable. The staff is friendly but professional. Dr. Garber and his staff answered all of my questions at my initial visits and continue to provide service when I need it. Dr. Garber and his staff are never rushing in and out but give you all the time you need to feel comfortable with the diagnosis and treatment. The diagnosis and treatment has made a wonderful difference in my life. My husband is also a patient and his progress is just as wonderful. We are starting to feel normal again.

Dr. Garber is a consummate professional who cares about his patients. I have been a patient of his for several years and can say with confidence that he is the best sleep medicine specialist in the area. He takes ample time to review your condition and provide effective solutions. Once the issue has been remedied, Dr. Garber is more than accommodating with providing the necessary documentation required for a professional to return to work. I highly recommend him to anyone with sleep disorders.
