Dr. Daniel Glotzer, MD

Dr Glotzer was exactly what anyone would wish for when having surgery. I went into his office with such trepidation I have no family here in Florida so I was alone facing surgery. He seemed to understand without a word passing between us. He held out a hand of peace calm and knowing that he would do everything in his power to help me. I would recommend him to anyone I knew needing a great doctor.

This doctor had the worst bedside manners I have ever had or heard of. He was angry with me when I requested to see him before my hernia surgery and then never came by to talk to me after the surgery. The telephone number I was given as a contact on his instruction sheet was out of service. I had to do a google search to find his office number. I had to call Walgreens to find out what pain medicine he prescribed for me. When he examined me a week after the surgery he told me he would not answer any any questions until I got dress. I had a cover over my lap but quote “ I don’t speak to naked people”. I am 68 years of age and have had many doctors and surgeries during my life but this doctor is by far the worst I’ve ever had. I’m hoping the mesh he used for my hernia is ok.

Left the country with no coverage and left me hanging after a biopsy with no results.... awful experience.

I was diagnosed with a hernia. It turned out that I had three. It appears that Dr Glotzer did an excellent job in the repair. It has only been 11 days since the surgery but I apparent to be healing well and as described by the good doctor. He also found a stitch from previous surgery, 1971, and repaired it. So that you.

Great Dr. explains things well and listens well. I would recommend him to family and friends.

I had two surgeries with Dr. Glotzer..a masectomy and a port put in for my chemo treatments. Both went very well. His office staff strikes just the right balance between professionalism and bedside manner. Nurse Jackie is aces. You cannot be in better hands.

This dr did my incisional hernia surgery with good results. I went back for a new hernia that was causing me a lot of pain. He told me it was all in my head. I ended up going to Cleveland clinic and they diagnosed a hiatal hernia. He has no bedside manner and was rude to the point of making me cry. He ordered a test that my insurance did not cover. It cost me 450.00 dollars for a test that had nothing to do with my problem. I would not recommend him. I will never go back to see him even if I was on my death bed. That was the worst experience with a doctor I have ever had and I have seen a lot of drs. I have crohns and have had 2 surgeries for it. I will go back to Cleveland for the proper care I deserve. It's bad enough I have to live with this nasty disease without a doctor treating me like crap!

I was devastated when I learned I had cancer. He and his staff were wondeful explaining what to expect, my options and made sure I had all my information. He used simple examples to explain the treatment options. We were blessed to have him as our surgeon

I was pleased the way he explains things in terms easy to understand. Really felt like he cares.
