Dr. Kachman is unprepared, unprofessional, and unqualified to treat adults with anxiety and depression. I had a horrible experience with him. His "treatment" consisted of administering an evaluative diagnostic test during one session, then reading results out loud to me in subsequent session without reviewing results first. Test results demonstrated I was severely depressed and had severely high anxiety. He then said I could continue to see him to talk about any issues or feelings I experienced, but inferred he could not help with anxiety/depression. He also stated I could see psychologist on staff on about six weeks. I left his office extremely anxious, and suffered a mental collapse the next morning. I was taken by my wife to Crittendon Hospital in Rochester, where I was placed in an outpatient clinic (Harbor Oaks). I began my long road to recovery with the outstanding help of their staff, and am now seeing a psychiatrist who is highly qualified and effective.
