Dr. Daniel Bennett Kalb, MD

This guy talks at length about caring for patients but wont do any prior authorizations or letters of medical necessity to get medication covered. So you are on your own. He also gets a significant kickback (up to 20%) from the supplements he tells you to get. You have been warned.

Great for hard to treat, integrative, autoimmune, infections, brain function, etc.

Dr. Kalb is one of the few MDs with whom I've interacted who actually listens to you and is very empathetic. He didn't dismiss me as a neurotic woman with my multitude of symptoms, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, etc., etc.

My son had RMSF (lyme coinfections) and not only did Kalb treat, but he healed damaged areas of his body! Full body approach & covered every area of problems. Our first visit was hours long, as he received all medical history and took needed time to diagnose and fully understand the issues at hand. Worth the drive and every penny invested! My son was on death bed & now is 14years old and completely healthy!

Dr. Kalb is one of the few physicians that knows about Lyme disease. He is excellent in treating Lyme patients.

This doc is more than a doctor, he is a parent with a huge heart for others. My son and daughter are here because of his special ability to dig deep and treat the problem not just the symptoms. It is so hard to find a doctor for PANS / PANDAS, mixed with Lyme and other complex issues but this man knows his stuff!

Worth the two hour drive. Dr Kalb was the only one that took the time to figure out what was wrong with me after so many other drs couldn't. Yes, there is Lyme in TN. Don't let other drs tell you there isn't.

Fantastic experience with Dr. Kalb. Took my son to see him based on the recommendation of a friend, and he was really attentive and very sharp. Great follow up so far and staff was pleasant.

Dr. Kalb is the ONLY doctor who would discuss vaccines with us. Whenever we would ask a question to another doctor they would just say if you don't vaccinate then you must leave my office. They weren't even open to helping us understand! Dr. Kalb went through every vaccine and every communicable disease. I never got the feeling he was anti vaccine. It was more of a we need to make the vaccines safer. The fact that he even would discuss tells me that he is not stuck in the mud. He would be open to new evidence. This isn my opinion makes him more than a doctor but a healer. He is interested in healing and his ego is not attached to I know everything so shut up attitude. Evidence based medicine is important as long as you are open to new evidence. To be closed to bettering medicine is to be closed to healing. This is where medicine ceases to be about healing. I am grateful also to Dr. Kalb's bedside manner. Another traight that is often not taught in medical school and the importance to… healing the patient.
