Dr. Daniel Gerard Kalbac, MD

Dr. Kalbac is an amazing doctor. The front desk is helpful, and his assistants are equally as great. He treated my right knee for a meniscus tear with a MRI and then some physical therapy, all conveniently onsite at his office. Wait times vary for the office between 10 - 1.5hrs but very rarely is it longer than an hr. I have also been seen in the urgent care after hours clinic they run. SO FAST! Much better than the ER or other urgent cares in the area. Only open M, W, and F but still better! I highly recommend him to family and friends.

I’ve been going to Dr. Kalbac for many years for a variety of issues. Just wound up a series of injections. Marco and Kim have always gone above and beyond to get me through the process. I’m always greeted by Dr. Kalbac and his staff with the highest level of professionalism. I’ve recommended them many times over to family/friends and will continue to do so.

I have treated with Dr Kalbac for many years. He always listens to me. He is a great surgeon, great doctor, treats all of my family. Staff is pleasant, physical therapist are also great.

So, I have been a patient of Dr. Kalbac's for two broken legs in the past three years. Now it is a rotator cuff and frozen shoulder issue. Dr. Kalbac AND his son, Dr. Tyler Kalbac, took amazing care of my situation. Both were very frank about the situation, and genuinely empathetic about the pain connected with it. On a more personal note, you could feel the love and pride Dr. Daniel Kalbac has for his son, Tyler, who is following in dad's footsteps. Dr. Tyler gave the cortisone shot quite skillfully and will much less pain than I have experienced in other places. Both Dr. Kalbacs were good about explaining the situation and what needed to be done. I wish I could give this practice 100 stars. All are efficient, professional, and kind... from start to finish.

Friendly, extremely knowledgeable and caring... with an amazing support staff. I broke my right leg TWICE in one year, and had no hesitation at all in knowing that I would go back to Dr. Kalbac for treatment!

great bedside manner , always upbeat

I'm a L.E.O. Motor officer. I survived a serious on the job traffic accident. I sustained numerous injuries to my shoulder & knees. I was initially "sent" by the w/comp carrier to a "surgeon" who botched two of my surgeries. After a long road of P/T, I never regained full use & movement in those extremities. Dr Kalbac was highly recommended by several past and present patients as well as other nurses that I personally know. I have always tried to seek out nurses and P/Assistants that have assisted doctors during surgeries. I personally know some medical staff that have assisted Dr Kalbac with numerous procedures & all stated that he meticulously performs each surgery or procedure, as if you were a friend or family member. After Dr Kalbac performed my surgeries, & followed up with his recommended physical therapy, I regained full use of my knee & shoulder! To comment on some of the negative reviews; Yes - you may have a long wait in the lobby, but that is true with any… physician that are specialists in their field with patients on waiting lists to be seen. Try to get an early appointment - before lunch. After lunch- variables come into play. i.e. ..a late surgery, patients arriving late for their appt., others wanting to be "fitted in" on the already full schedule. Dr Kalbac has an unbelievable bedside manner, which is a rarity with surgeons. He will not rush through your examination. His experience gives him the ability to explain your procedure (s) in laymen's terms. He encourages his patients to ask questions & will instruct you on his plan of treatment and only perform surgery as a last resort. I have always encouraged anyone to seek out a second opinion if a physician advises surgery before other conservative medicine or therapy is advised. Then return to Dr Kalbac for your treatment. You won't be disappointed !

I hardly saw him post surgery i mostly saw his assistant, one visit i waited almos 1.5 hours, mostly waited 30-45 minutes, my acl and meniscus surgery still bothers me after one year, feels stiff

Dr. Kalbac is true professional who understands sports injuries and his expertise and knowledge is evident in his work. I had clavicle surgery just a week ago and im recovering at a fast pace. My clavicle was fractured in 3 places and although the surgery was more complex Dr Kalbac performed an incredible job. His staff is very friendly and I couldnt be happier. I would recommend him to anyone that has a leg or shoulder injury. Afte all theres a reason why hes the physician for the US national mens soccer team.

I've been going to Dr. Kalbac since I was 15 years old, I am now 30. I had two sport injury surgeries. He treats you like a friend, not like a patient. I have referred 3 family members to him with all great success after surgery. He is the type of doctor that will NOT perform surgery unless you need it 100%. I do not believe any bad reviews for anything in the world. You don't work on the US soccer team and Dolphin players if you are no the absolute best of the best. Do not trust bad reviews, go see for yourself. His Physician Assistants are also very very nice, knowledgeable, and professional. This doctor is a must see.
