Dr. Daniel F. Mcneive

Doesn’t listen. Poor treatment plan. Rude.

I was recently referred to Dr. Mcneive. To be very honest I don't feel he is very personable, nor was he attentive to my questions and concerns. According to the reviews some patients praise his ability, and knowledge but I not sure why. I feel rushed on every appointment and I leave with even more anxiety, frustration, worry, and un answered questions then I did when I arrived. When I had my first child which was with another physician in IL... I had no worries what's so ever and no doubt in the physicians ability to deliver great service. Today I am worried sick about my health and health of my unborn child. Seems Dr. Mcneive doesn't seem to take patients concerns serious enough before he moves right along to his next patient. I really hope my next appointment will put all my concerns to rest. Because at this point my due date right around the corner, so switching doctors at this point would be a good idea. There is nothing like having to question your physicians knowledge and skills… as your due date is approaching. Worried Patient

With my first child I had a terrible doctor and after I was afraid of trusting a doctor again. After reading the reviews on Dr. Mcneive I decided to give him a chance. He is the best doctor I have ever had. He is very informative and does a great job at putting my nerves at ease. He takes the times to answer any questions I have. He delivered my second child in 2011 and when I discovered that I was expecting again I immediately made an appointment with him. All the staff at the office are extremely sweet. I have never had an issue getting a hold of him or the nurse practitioner to get answers to medical questions. They have a great online tool through MyMercy where I am able to set up appointments and review test results.

Awesome as a GYN physician for several years, but not thru/detail oriented enough as an OB. Amazing office staff! Great availability.
