Dr. Daniel A. Reichmuth, MD

I waited a long time for this appointment after more than a year of trying to find knowledgeable care for suspected mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS). I came in hopeful and prepared, but the experience was deeply upsetting and unprofessional. From the start of the visit, the doctor appeared rushed and dismissive. When I described my symptoms, they were immediately discounted rather than explored with clarifying or curious questions. The tone of the appointment felt antagonistic and argumentative, and I was made to feel as though I was wasting his time. As the visit progressed, I became overwhelmed by the interaction and began crying out of frustration — not only from the appointment itself, but from the cumulative difficulty of trying to access appropriate care for a complex condition. Despite my visible distress, there was no acknowledgment, no empathy, and not even a tissue offered. The doctor either stared at me or continued typing without engaging. When I expressed reasonable… concerns about intentionally triggering severe symptoms for diagnostic testing after working hard to stabilize my health, the response became defensive. He raised his voice and repeatedly asserted, “I’m a board-certified allergist,” rather than discussing risks or alternatives collaboratively. What troubled me further was the documentation afterward. The clinical notes selectively portrayed me as angry while omitting that I was crying and emotionally distressed, omitted context about the doctor’s demeanor, and included inaccuracies about follow-up care. This kind of documentation can unfairly bias future providers. Patients with complex, chronic, or poorly understood conditions need clinicians who listen, ask thoughtful questions, and treat patients with respect and compassion. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. I would urge others in similar situations to consider this carefully before scheduling.

I have been a patient for 14 years and have been happy and very much satisfied with the staff and Dr. Reichmuth. I wouldn't trade them for anybody. I highly recommend this office.

I would not recommend this office. Dr. Reichmuth is fair, however, the staff that performs injections have been horrible. I was on an injection regimen of every 4 weeks and finally found another Allergist office. I am extremely happy to never have to visit this office again.

Dr. Reichmuth took his time with our daughter and us, as parents. He gave us a treatment plan that was easy to follow and his office followed up to make sure everything was going good. His bedside manner is very nice. He explained things clearly and was eager to answer any and all questions we had. My daughter was comfortable under his care and talked highly of him after leaving his office.

Dr. Reichmuth is thorough and cautious. He actually practices, "Do no Harm".

Tested me on first appointment, found problem and prescribed medicine. has common sense approach. He said no further testing needed. I am just waiting for meds to fully work. I would go to him again.

I took my son(4) to see Dr. Reichmuth. He was very caring and eased my concerns. The staff was also nice and helped with any concerns I had. Great doctor!

He listens and tells you what you need. Although he doesn't test like other allergists I have been to-example won't test for food allergies at the same time. I have been to other Drs. who have tested for all at the same time. He says it isn't as stressful on the body. Could be just his way of doing things. I was fine when I was at the other Drs. I just hated to have to come back a second time, spend more money and time, plus be off antihistimines a week before the tests.
