Dr. Daniel Richman, MD

Only cares about the money and does not remember from time to time what was done. Sad.

When my original pain doctor, Geoffrey Ngeow retired, he recommended Dr. Richman. Dr. Richman and I share a few acquaintances. I thought I was in good hands. When Dr. Ngeow did the first epidural in my cervical area, I had immediate relief. Most of the numbness in my middle finger (caused by a very reckless chiropractor) was gone. The rest dissipated after a few weeks. When this wore off six - 8 months later, I saw Dr. Richman. Dr. Richman's first injection increased the number of numb fingers from one to three causing more pain than I originally had. Opting to give Dr. Richman a second chance, I asked him to inject me again. Now all of my fingers are numb. His response, carpel tunnel. Why did my fingers become number IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING BOTH of his procedures then?

People like Dr. Richman are what’s morally bankrupt about our medical system. I received a pain injection from him recently that cost a staggering, disgusting $2695 of which my equally awful insurance company covered...$200. Dr. Richman’s staff explained to me this is what he’s “allowed” to charge and tried to justify $400 consultation that never took place. Do better, find every bit as talented a Dr. for exponentially less money.

Frankly was more interested in performing expensive procedures than truly caring or listening to really diagnose

I have been seeing Dr. Richman for 10+ years. I have always had very good results. He is probably the most intelligent doctor I have. His explanation for the procedure is precisely what I need to be relaxed. I am always highly confident that I will feel better after I see him.

I feel blessed to have been treated by and to know Dr. Richman. He is not just renowned in his field, but is truly an exceptionally good man-I cannot rave enough!

he was rude, was not interested in my issues and what the pain meant to me - he had his set diagnosis and treatment plan which was robotic. he was not interested in answering my questions about the medicine and procedure he was proposing to me and when I got upset and pressed him for some answers he rudely asked me if I was seeing a psychiatrist. He also was obviously unprepared for my visit, not having reviewed both my history with a HSS surgeon who did my procedure and the pages I filled out of paperwork supplied by Dr. Richman as a prerequisite to my visit. I would not recommend anyone visit Dr. Richman.

Arrogant

Diagnosed me with RSD. Waste of time and money. No one i have seen since has agreed w diagnosis. Arroagant. Only had his agenda
