I saw Dr. ROSS and he ordered HIS SPECIAL LAB Bloodwork for me. I said ok my insurance covers labs done at Quest,Was TOLD BY HIM & STAFF,,oh this was special lab work done by his choice of labs. When I asked what would be the cost of Said non- insurance bloodwork to myself,,,are you ready for this? Oh DO NOT WORRY ABOUT IT AS SAID LAB DOES NOT HAVE A COLLECTION SERVICE AND THEY WOULD JUST DO A INSURANCE WRITE OFF...HMMMmmm something stinks. Imagine my surprise when a bill from TRUE-HEALTH LABS for A significant amount of money due to them. I proceeded to call Dr. ROSS‘s office and I spoke to Kim the billing manager,, she proceeds to go into this spiel about don’t worry and disregard said BILL because the company would only send out one bill and then after that they do an insurance right off so technically no ma’am you do not owe them any money. Well let me just say that I take great pride in the fact that I have A pristine credit score and I would certainly like to keep it that… way, I have never been late on a bill or much less just disregarded a bill that I receive without an inquiry. The billing manager Kim then proceeded to give me a comparable between my bloodwork bill and her bloodwork bill which was thousands of dollars more than mine because of her tremendous migraine headaches, WHY DO I NEED TO KNOW THIS.????? Again I stressed that I did not want my credit damaged or sent to collections of any kind due to a bill being owed. I didn’t proceeded to contact true health with an inquiry of did I indeed oh this money to them, did they indeed just blindly write off what was owed to them . Imagine my surprise, when the lady I spoke to at the lab was discouraged to know that one of their doctors they have a contract with we’re basically telling their patients don’t worry about this lab work, WRONG ... I said well basically there( Dr. Ross in company) that this was FREE BLOODWORK.... The Lab was aghast at there practice of telling there patients this VERY INCORRECT INFO. AND THAT IN NO EAY SHAPE OR FORM WHERE THEY IN THE BUSINESS OF DOING FREE BLOODWORK AND WOULD BE CONTACTING THE DR. OFFICE TO SEE IF THEY NEEDED TO BE RETRAINED,ETC... So patient beware that if you receive any type of bloodwork/labs that are not covered by your insurance i.e. quest/LabCorp that indeed you will be receiving a bill and this bill is absolutely a true bill and needs to be paid by said patient. This doctor his office is beyond unprofessional and borders on wrecking the credit of any patient that has this service...... HUGE RED FLAG TO ANYONE... PS. THE LABS HE ORDERED WHERE ABSOLUTELY THE SAME BLOODWORK THAT COULD BE DONE AT EITHER QUEST OR UNLESS YOUR OK WITH HAVING A BILL INDEED GO INTO COLLECTIONS BECAUSE OF THIS DOCTOR AND HIS STAFF TELLING HIS PATIENTS THE VERY VERY WRONG INFO...

I saw Dr. Ross for years for various issues. The last two years he could not determine why I kept falling (injuries, broken bones). He got a new PA who was wonderful and she called him in during exam and said diagnosis Parkinson's. Dr. Ross agreed and they started meds. Then he had me go for a DAT scan which he said would show positively whether I had PD or not. DAT scan showed I did not. Referred me to movement disorder specialist Dr. Dees at USA Medical in Mobile. Final diagnosis: Parkinson's (they do not rely on DAT). Dr. Ross at one point diagnosed me with seizures (with meds), couldn't drive for 3 months. All this plus overall communication in office is very poor. Cannot speak to Dr. Ross on phone ever. MA's don't give him messages. Poorly run practice in my opinion. Not at all professional.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ross, D.O. since 2008 and have been extremely satisfied with his treatment of me from my seizures, migraine management, and most recently two years ago when I had a stroke at age 27. He has seen me through and followed me very closely through it all!

I was referred to Dr.Ross and was please how fast I was able to get in for an appointment. My initial evaluation left me feeling hopeful with the care I was going to receive. After my first appointment my experience went down hill very fast. Doctor Ross's MA's were very unprofessional with their lack of communication among each other. The Head Nurse in their office is clearly not well educated in Neurology. I kept begging to speak to Dr.Ross himself and I was not able to. I felt mistreated and blown off. I've never had a worse experience at a doctors office. I have worked in health care field for a long time and I would never treat a patient with the lack of respect as I was treated here.

I went to Dr. Ross's PA with back pain in the middle of the back she told me she would order an MRl She ordered it and I excepted the MRI and she ordered the wrong part of my back,not knowing what Agra was required and afterwards it wasn't the right area. When I contact his office that since I approved it I was responsible for all charges. I do 't know the areas of the back I agreed,and it didn't show the right area and they won't pay for a new one in the right area. Be very carful , you might contact another Neurologist.

Dr. Ross is excellent but the staff and especially his nurse suck.

Dr Ross is an excellent doctor, but the office staff sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dr. Ross is an excellent doctor, worth waiting to see. However the staff is very RUDE!!!!
