Dr. Daniel Randolph Seely, MD

Excellent physician. He diagnosed my vocal disorder before even running the test, and he was spot on! His treatment was effective, and hopefully permanent. He was the 3rd ENT I consulted, the first one wanted to perform surgery on my sinuses (wrong, had nothing to do with my problem) and the 2nd wanted to perform a diagnostic test before giving an opinion. In hindsight the diagnosis was obvious, thumbs down to the first two. Sad to say his clinic site states he retired in Sept 2018. Kinda thought he was up there in years, hopefully I won't need his services anymore. Truly a master of his craft.

Dr. Seely performed surgery to expand my sinuses and straighten a deviated septum. He surgical skill is excellent. The aftercare I received and explanations were also excellent. I also learned that two of my physicians had surgery on their sinuses done by Dr. Seely, too, and they regard him highly.

I was a patient of Dr. Seely back in 2006-2007. There isn't a day that goes by that I am not thankful for him and the care that he gave me. I am a classical vocalist and music educator and for 20 years of my career, I suffered with vocal problems. I had been through many exams by other otolaryngologists and it wasn't until I went to Dr. Seely that he pinpointed the exact problems for my vocal issues. When he diagnosed me with a hemorrhagic polyp and a vocal nodule, I knew I had no choice but to have surgery on the very instrument that was my livelihood and my hobby. He removed both and had me do a very careful recovery regiment that I followed to a T. After much vocal rest, I began teaching again and noticed that things were almost perfect, but not 100%. After another exam, we noticed that after the surgery swelling had gone down, there was still the tiniest bit of nodule left behind. I still remember him saying, "I know I can get this." And I trusted him. After my 2nd… surgery, there was no sign of anything. Everything perfectly healed. No scarring. I was grateful for his conservative approach and not digging too far into the top layer of my cords, which is the horror story you hear from others who have undergone the knife. Years later, I am in perfect vocal health. Thank you, Dr. Seely.

I have worked in doctor's offices for some years as well as having my own businesses. My daughter has been experiencing significant pain from a surgery from another doc several years ago. We never made it in the door because when I called to find out if Dr Seely see my daughter the front desk woman was hostile, rude, did not listen to me or listen questions and concerns. I felt insignificant and as if she could care less if we came to their office. I was polite and soft spoken. I write this review because the first person a patient encounters in a doctor's office is the person answering the phone, and it sets the tone for the experience. No one wants to battle the front desk person in order to see a doctor no matter how well recommended they come. I write this in hopes of assisting this office in better service and care of the patient. As an additional note, this person had no idea what an otolaryngologist was. That was very disturbing since that is what Dr. Seely does. I would… go elsewhere if compassionate, respectful patient care is what you seek. Te only reason this got one star is that the program would not. Allow me to submit it without marking it.

Dr. Seely performed a turbinate reduction and enlarged a nasal passage. The results have been great. If I ever need another nasal operation, I will definitely return to Dr. Seely. I picked Dr Seely after asking other Drs for recommendations. I definitely recommend him.
