Dr. Daniel Martin Tkach, MD

As I look in the mirror each day I am reminded of the horrible effects from choosing this Dr to perform my face lift! I got Necrosis “death of skin” from a hematoma that resulted in MRSA INFECTION undetected by Nurse during overnight stay inhospitable after complaining about increasing pain and swelling on left side of my face! Dr. Tkach did not even acknowledge this had occurred when he removed Bandages and drainage bags before dismissal from hospital... 2 days later my eyes were swollen shut and very painful this was I’m New Year’s Day I contacted him ... he told me to meet him at his office said oh maybe you do have an infection prescribed steroids and antibiotics.. The side of my face turned Black skin literally rotted off and left a horrible scar after 8 months of him trying to treat and accusing me of causing it ... finally was referred to dermatologist ...who said has he took a culture of this! Culture came back as MRSA “8 months post op No he had not nor had he taken any… photos of my wound to observe progress of healing actually getting worse... You would think a “BOARD CERTIFIED PS couldr recognize and Treat this. Took 3 years to finally get wound healed after going to another PS Dr, Ballert who treated it with laser treatments for 6 months Don’t be fooled by his first impression!!! After year “ statute of limitations “ was over his true arrogance was revealed .... all I can say is BEWARE OF YOUR CHOICE OFYO YOUR PS ALSO learned MRSA can be diagnosed with just a swab of the nose! I now need another Facelift after all the stress this caused me... My left jawline looks like a burn victim....

I coincidentally was checking out at Kohls and at he register next to me i noticed Dr. and wife observing an elderly lady who was with them having great difficulty checking out...he appeared quite impatientwith the lady!! the Dr and I made eye contact he immediately turned away..he then had a call and walked away, as he returned to the register area avoiding eye contact!! I then overheard him say to Ingrid his wife/Nurse well insurance is going up again!! they both seem disgruntled... i am still having Laser Treatments @ Dr. Ballerts Office he is ENT/plastic surgery to try to heal the wound caused by this Dr. Tkach's negligence in my face lift and his inability to diagnosis and successfully treat a very serious infection caused by a hematoma which resulted in Necrosis (death of the Skin) he told me during my consult that this never happens (NECROSIS) After a year of post op treatment I trusted he would do scar revision as he had stated in previous appts even after his improperly… treating this horrid infection!! I had an upper lip lift also which also had terrible scaring from infection along my jawline that cant be revised, i still had necrotic tissue in front of my ear that would not heal! when i arrived for my revision appointment which i was told it would be $600 for "supplies" i told receptionist i had decided not to have upper lip revised due to fear of worse scarring. she informed me it would still be $600.00!!!And of course this had to be paid before procedure was performed!! as we went back to room i asked is this going to hurt bad? he said not going to hurt me a bit as he chuckled... not the only time i had heard him make this unfunny and unprofessional statement!!! I then "mistakenly"decided to have both areas revised if the cost was the same anyway!!! While he started injected what seemed like 50 very painful local anesthetic into shots into my face... midway thru I said if I had known it would have been this painful I would have opted to be sedated!! as he had to stop so i could take a Xanax to stop the uncontrollable trembling these shots had caused me he impatiently waited until i felt i could handle the rest of the shots!! since He was about halfway thru the injections at this point. he said if you would like we can reschedule another time and it would be an addition fee for anesthesiologist. after he was done with procedure i went to restroom and observed he had not revised/removed all of the wound by my ear that kept reopening from the underlying necrotic tissue I told Dr. he said i don't have time to fix this today ( i was his last patient of the day!! ) and I could reschedule for this another day and it would be an additional $200 for this!!! OMG At this point i am finally DONE with my patience with him!! i contacted him to request a partial refund of my money due to the unsightly scar left on the side of my face.. he did not respond! I then received mail from his Insurance Provider and once again my trusting soul got played as I certainly assumed they would pay me for my pain suffering and scarring again as another year of dealing with this when they determined their experts found no fault on Dr. Tkach Botch's procedures at 9 months out! i then decided to take the advice my husband and the few others that new of this issue had tried to get me to do from the beginning!! i was a business owner a Hairstylist and my business ethics were that if you were happy with my service to please tell your friends If you were unhappy with something plz tell me first!! as most things can be corrected or if not I would definitely refund money!! I had liked these people and had no desire to cause any problems .. as i know we are all humans and humans do make mistakes!! I did not even tell my own Primary Dr. about this as i did not want to mar his reputation!

Had a plan and was able to have it done by the doc.

Had very bad experience with this Dr suffered several infections including MRSA after trying for over a year to let him make this right this practice just milked me for more of my time and money asked for a refund of money ?? he turned to insurance and because of the depression that this experience Left me unable to function normally.... and his insurance attorneys played me and ran out the statutes of limitations IMAGINE THAT!! NEVERHAVEATRUSTINGSOUL

Doc is very nice and personable. Shortest wait I've ever had in a medical office.

Those nurses are hilarious and Dr. Tkach's bedside manner was impeccable!

If you are looking for a plastic surgeon, Dr Tkach is the one. He is by far the best that I know of.
