Dr. Daniel Yoshor, MD

This was my second appointment with this surgeon in follow up of a brain tumor. He was extremely rude from the minute he started interacting, patronizing, dismissive and arrogant. He could not be bothered to look at the records I brought. He has no empathy. I drove 6 hours round trip for my appointment and did not attend my father's funeral because I considered this appointment of utmost importance, clearly he did not.

Incredibly professional, personable, and caring. I left reassured, clear on next steps and grateful for his time.

Horrible - extremely arrogant - put down previous doctors

It can be hard to find a doctor with knowledge of Chiari Malformation so I was lucky to find him. I had been undiagnosed for 17 years. Dr. Yoshor was surprised by the fact that I had seen so many doctors and never been diagnosed. He was awesome and it felt great to finally be believed. He wasted no time getting me scheduled for surgery. This month makes 8 years since my surgery and I have been doing great thanks to him.

Dr. Yoshor is the most caring Doctor that not only cares about the patient but the family as well. He removed a cancerous tumor from my husband's brain. He explained the procedure and answered each and every question that we understood. His bedside manner is beyond measure. I highly recommend Dr. Yoshor!

he did a great job removing the skull base tumor that I wanted removed and he did such a great job you can barely even see the scar . His Diagnosis was great bedside manner was great as well as ease of appointment promptness, courteous staff, follows up well after visit and wait time was great also I'm glad he got the awards he got cause he deserved them

His care was great during the pre and post-opp visits. All my questions were always answered. The same goes for the time I spent in the hospital for the two surgical procedures done. He was able to explain the details of the surgeries not only to me, but to my worrisome siblings and anxious father who speaks mostly Spanish. All in all he's the guy to see. I've been seizure free for 1 year 7 months & 1week. I'm so happy for all he for me.

Wonderful doctor. He was able to get all of the pituitary tumor I had. A previous surgeon only got about one quarter of it. My recovery time was much shorter. Overall, a much better experience. Dr Yorshor has a wonderful attitude. He wants to help and doesn't have the god complex some neurosurgeons have. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

He did a craneotomy on my 17 year old son. He was a strong support during the process with ample information, care, assurance. Fantastic MD and person.

This man has truley talented hands i was in lousiana i had a major siezure coded twice once on life flight and once in abulance turns out the golf ball sized beigne brain tumor i had gree to a lemon sixed malignet rumor it caused me to have major seizures (15-20) a day and i lost complete vison i had to be put in a coma becase of the siezures after awaking i was realesed from LSU hospital afttet returning to texas (whhere i live near houston) my famly and wife took me to several neurosurgeons who told me they prefer not to operate theu might paraliys me for life i finally found Dr. Yoshor at baylor who after taking one very good look and studied my scans told me i can do it but you migjt be unable to use your left side for a little whie i then prepared for brain mapping and surgery after12 hours of surgery ( so i been told) he got all but 5% of the astrosytomia tumor because it was intertwinned with brain tissue yes i couldnt use my left side but therpy got it back within 6 wks i did… not yet know the tumor wad cancer until he did a fallow up with me in the hospital he broke the news to me softly and didnt want to till my family wad there but i asked him to tell me right then it hurt to hear the news but 6 wks of radation got the job done i was only 19 at the time now im 21 with a daughter i can now see drive my life is normal ( i still have seizures but i regulate it with medication and i been told cause of the tumor positon i will always have them but meds keep them at bay) this man saved my life i thank him and Jeuses Christ who most deffantlyblessef his hands to help ppl i would suggest him toANYBODY thank you very very very much Dr. Yoshor
