Dr. Robert Lee Witt, MD

During my surgery consult for a thyroidectomy. Dr. Witt explained the procedure clearly and answered my numerous questions. Dr. Witt was patient, sincere and uniquely genuine. Dr. Witt perform the thyroidectomy and I am convinced that my thyroidectomy was a success because of Dr. Witt's expertise, experience and skill. I am thankful for Dr. Witt.

Dr. Witt operated on me three times within 2 years. He faced some difficult odds with the type of Cancer I had. He was unbelievable. Even when I was conscience after the surgery I could hear his comforting but assuring voice. I can not express into words the marvelous work he performed on me and the hope he gave to my family. God Bless this man. He is indeed a Saint.

From the moment I saw him, I just knew I was in good hands. He has diplomas etc in all the rooms I saw! He cut out a huge growth and half my thiyroid, hear I am looking at a scar that is prety well gone, very cleverly hidden in a neck fold, and such a neatly sewn up job! with cosmetics as very important to how, we the patients feel about looks.

While we are in the beginning of our son's condition, Dr. Witt and his staff are on top of everything. Some feel they should be coddled, but Dr. Witt gives it to you straight. Sorry for those who don't appreciate this part about this exceptional Doctor. Always take someone with you so you can fully understand what has been said. I will post about our son's outcome.

Dr. Witt has been so good to me even seeing me for important testing as early as 7am seems anyone who is having a problem if you reach out to him he will give you courtesy and respect and get you in on a timely manner. He is very gentle and loving. KIM R.

Dr Witt was sent to us from God, my husband hadn't been sick in 20 yrs and was diagnosed with thyroid cancer, our ENT Dr sent us to him and we could not have asked for a better man than Dr Witt. Everyone in his office are so very nice and helpful . We can not say enough about how absolutely wonderful this Dr is.

I had two major surgeries preformed by Dr. Robert L Witt. I have recommended many of my friends and family to him as well. I had such bad sinuses where I has 6 polyps in my sinuses on both sides and a infection that was eating at the bone in my face. This doctor was so caring and very honest of what was going to happen to me and what could happen if I was not treated. He is highly intelligent and speaks to you like you are just a regular person not another physician. I would recommend him to anyone who needs and ENT and wants help. I also had a issue with my own blood not clotting 5 days post op. As soon as I was rushed into the ER he was right by my side. He treated me with compassion.

Most importantly, he healed my daughter whom was sick for > year with sinus infections and had a different ENT tell her she was fine. She had a terrible sinus infection that she could not fight off - bad enough that I could visibly see the infection. Yes, Dr. Witt gave her all the warnings of what could go wrong with surgery and cat scans but also told her that she truly needed this. Sinus surgery is not fun - but he corrected her problems and she has had little problems since. He has continuously helped her and kept her healthy - which I genuinely appreciate. After the experience she had, my daughter will not visit any other doctor when she has any ENT issues.

Dr. Witt seemed uncaring. I was recommended by my allergy Dr. to see an ENT. I had a problem with recurrent sinus and ear infections. Steroids and medicines had not helped. When he checked my ears and nose he told me that he could do nothing. He said a CAT scan could give me brain damage and surgery could leave me paralyzed. I should not take a risk. He said I should move to Arizona where there are less allergea. ( Like I could do this since I would have to sell my house and quit my job). He gave me antibiotics for an ear infection and told me not to bother returning. I understand that there are risks but it was the insensitive way he spoke. I would think that I doctor with all the experience and knowledge that he has he would know that tubes in my ears would be a good thing to do. He did not even recommend a hearing test. I went back to my allergy Dr and he told me that I really needed tubes in my ears and I must go to someone else. I did see another ENT who put the tubes in my… ears. The tubes made a huge difference. I feel so much better now and not had any recurrence of the ear infections. I am upset to have to pay Dr. Witt almost 200 dollars for nothing but causing me to be depressed.
