She spent 10 minutes at most with my child and was quick to give a "possible diagnosis" right in front of them. The next day, she admitted she was wrong but that did not change how our child felt hearing this! Very unprofessional and I regret the entire visit.

She was the on call pediatrician for my newborn and was already informed that we want him circumcised.when she did her initial check up she told me she'll let me know early morning the next day about it but got there at 330pm and barely check my baby and I ask her again and was told she need to squeeze him in her schedule and will let me know early morning the next day, again she showed up late afternoon and gave the same excuse, wouldve been better if she said that she couldn't do it so I can ask for another pediatrician.til we got discharged she was always late and now we have to wait til my sons 6 months old before he get circumcise coz they need to put him to sleep. I'm with another doctor now and he too was upset when i told him why he didnt had the procedure after birth. She's so unprofessional doesn't even look at you while you talk to her and ask her questions. I know she's just an on call md at the hospital and were not her regular patients but still we deserve to have the… same attention after all she's supposed to be a medical practitioner and it's duty no matter where she is.

I am thankful that during Medcial School, Dr. Onstot paid attention and knew where in her text books to look & read about a Rear Disorder she felt our grandson had. She gently guided our family to all of the Doctors needed to do the operation, as he required a Pediatric Surgeon specializing in cranial surgery. She sent us to where she felt we would get the best treatment which was at Loma Linda University. Because of Dr. Onstot, our grandson is well & happy. She is the best !

Dr. Onstot really messed up on my son's circumcision about 2 months ago. She made multiple errors, and he is going to be scarred permanently. We are currently in the process of having him get restorative surgery done at the UCLA medical center. I would not trust her to touch any child, whether he/she was mine or a friends. She is being investigated by the California Medical Board as a result of this incident.

She's very friendly, but my setback problem, with her is that she doesn't listen to you as a parent. She is constantly repeating things she's already said even after you explain that hey I have already done that. Not very open to alternative medician. I think my main issue would be that she does not take the time out to sit down and explain the side affects of the questionable medications she perscribes. It only when you as a parent do your own research is it brought to her attention. Even then though, she fails to go into the full details concerning the pros and cons of the product even when you try to streamline the process by bringing it up first. I don't know if she isn't knowlegeable or just not prepared to discuss thing slike this. However it would at least be a little bit benaficial if she would acknowledge the fact that she doesn't know but will try to research it, and get back to you. Its kind of difficult to have faith in a doctor that deals with your children if they are… strickly text book types and they won't even discuss things with you. No, I don't have a PHD, but I do live with my childen 24/7, I think I have an idea of when somethings wrong.
