Dr. Daphne Renata Hayes, MD

I told her a certain medication caused me to bleed to the point of being hospitalized for a week. She promised me it was different and used a brand name. Come to found out that it’s the same medication I told her not to give me. Then she wrote in my file my BMI is high for pills but enough to stick an IUD in me (even AFTER I told the office several times I do not consent to an IUD). This obgyn can’t help fat people, if you’re a fat person who needs competent, body positive doctor, this isn’t the place or doctor for you.

Went in to find the cause of my symptoms (distended stomach to size of 5 month pregnancy, pain, etc). Was told she couldn't find anything wrong. 6 years later, new OBGYN finds a 10cm fibroid on my uterus causing my symptoms. The kicker is, apparently Dr. Hayes wrote notes from my visit 6 years ago finding the fibroid (At 3cm) and a swollen uterus!!! She chose not to explain that it was the cause of my symptoms and did not offer to provide treatment! I lost 6 years of my life because of her negligence.
