Dr. Dara Rose Liotta, MD

I am very happy I chose Dr. Liotta for my septoplasty and rhinoplasty procedures. As I considered surgery options, I met with three doctors. Dr. Liotta stood out because she seemed to listen most closely to my thoughts, took time to answer all my questions, and provided the best predictive photos of what she wanted to accomplish with the surgery. Dr. Liotta did not disappoint. The qualities that helped me choose Dr. Liotta were even more pronounced in the lead-up to, during, and after the surgical procedure. She allowed me and my spouse to meet with her in the week lead up to surgery to ensure all of our questions and concerns were addressed. Dr. Liotta took time in that meeting to re-draw the pictures to make sure our ideas for the goals of surgery matched. Then again, while at the hospital (just prior to the surgery), Dr. Liotta met with my spouse and me again to answer our questions, calm my anxiety, and chat one more time about our goals for the surgery. After surgery,… Dr. Liotta went above and beyond to be available to me for any questions or concerns I had about recovery. I would email her questions and she would respond promptly. About two weeks after surgery I had a small issue late in the day on a Friday afternoon, and Dr. Liotta and I were in contact throughout the weekend to make sure the issue was addressed correctly. That following Monday morning, she made sure there was time in her schedule for me to come to her office so she could personally ensure the matter was resolved. Once I was mostly recovered, we met again and we took pictures of the results and discussed things to expect moving forward. Most importantly, the results were great! My spouse, who was most anxious about the results, was blown away. Dr. Liotta gave us the exact result we asked for during our numerous meetings. I canâ??t say enough about my experience with Dr. Liotta. If youâ??re looking for a doctor that is going to take time with you, listen to your needs and concerns, and answer all of your questions, while also providing amazing surgical results, Dr. Liotta is the doctor for you.

I would highly recommend Dr. Liotta. She is attentive, caring and personable and extremely knowledgeable. I felt well cared for every step of the way with chronic sinus infection that was not responding to medications. In addition, I was allergic to many of the medications that I tried and Dr. Liotta was quick and competent to address my concerns and needs. On one particular day I was very ill and needed relief from the infection, she offered to do surgery that same day but no OR was available so, she did a difficult procedure in her office. She didn't hesitate, she knew I needed relief and helped me. She was always present with me, never felt like she wasn't focused on my needs in that moment. She was reassuring and caring, explained the procedure throughly and in terms I could understand. Eventually I had surgery to clean out my sinuses more completely and to repair a deviated septum. Dr. Liotta went out of her way to accommodate my emotional needs and help me get through the… surgery with as little trauma as possible. My recovery has been smooth and she has been attentive to following up with me to make certain I am well. She is remarkable.

I would recommend Dr. Liotta without hesitation. I met with another doctor before meeting with her, and had a very different experience with her even in the initial consultation. She listened to what I wanted to accomplish and why, and enthusiastically, diplomatically and realistically discussed the process and likely outcome (for which she created a before and after image on the spot, using a photo she took during the meeting and an image manipulation program). She responded to emails in a very timely matter, and she and her staff called to check on me post-operation in addition to the in-person follow-up meetings. She was professional, yet clearly genuinely cared about my experience and outcome. I love the results and feel extremely lucky to have had her for my doctor.
