If he were right, then this would be five stars. He looked in his 70s in 2009, so this doctor may be his son? I will leave for one week for the staff, then remove it if I can. I Thank J C, I'm still alive, giving Praises where it belong. There's a nurse on staff making sure the doctor keeps moving on to the next appointment in 10 minutes! HE did the WRONG TYPE OF KIDNEY SURGERY in 2009, based on misreading my scans done at the hospital in Arlington, WA. He said I had cancer bB 2, and I had time, then he wanted me in Anacoardes hospital the next morning, we held out for Mount Vernon Hospital's new surgery unit. In 2010, it metastasized. He came in and said what happened, said I would be referred, and left (90 seconds). I went to the nurse station, asked them to call me with the referral after 10 months. I called SCCA, now Fred Hutch. They got me in 48 hours, did scans, and the same day, 4 hours later, had the doctor's first visit scheduled for 90 minutes. During those 48 hours,… my old scans were reviewed, along with all relevant records. We were told I had the wrong operation (It was cC three3 C, not bB two2), and there were only two doctors at the UW hospital who did the type of operation (a heart-lung bypass, they start at the kidney and follow the tumor along the central vein toward the central vein to the heart to get all the cancer) yes more risk. Still, because I had the wrong type of surgery, I was given a 2% to live 2 to 2 1/2 years, so I did experimental treatment and kc-h_e-m_ o-t_h-e_r-a_p-y. By 2010, I died in the UW ICU, and they brought me back, two sets of (i_l_II) k_e_m_o. Then, red_a_ction. By 2015, I had nine surgeries in 9 days, died twice, and the UW saved me, but I spent 42 days in the ICU. The third time in my life, learning to walk again (bedridden for 42 days), I was unable to work after that and was forced onto SSDI (went from 10,000.00 max to a low of 4500.00 to 1600.00 on SSDI). To this day, I live in fear of being homeless all the time because of the wrong surgery and losing 14 years of putting money into my union pension that now covers my medical insurance, so just only SSI, no union money. to busy trying to stay alive (many telling me see a lawyer) so when I did see a lawyer I had a great case but no time for them to perpare a case, (the laws are made for ins and drocters so see a lawyer ASAP).

The dr. can seem curt and arrogant at times..BUT A HUGE BUT ....he is a pro..I wud recommend him to anyone that was in need of his type medicine....HE IS TOP FLITE ..... he gave me super care...addressed any questions I had ...and was available when I needed him....THE BEST....TONY ALFIERI....

Dr. Cornelius is possibly a knowledgeable physician, but his bedside manner is lacking. He comes across as arrogant and uncaring. He also runs a very incompetent office. He fails to return calls even when requested to do so by another physician. His office promises to return calls, but never does. We had difficulty with billing; the office refused to release the diagnosis to us. When we were finally able to get it from the insurance company, and found that it was way off, we could not get the office to return our calls. I would suggest that if you want good care and want to avoid an exercise in frustration, you go elsewhere.

He was very thorough inhis examination, and subsequent biopsy. A very caring man, who made a very trying time as pleasant as possible. There should be more doctors like him.
