Dr. Darrell John Ludders, MD

I don't know what people are talking about with these bad reviews! Dr. Ludders is a good doctor that takes his time and asks many questions, then asks if you have any questions a few times. I've been to many gyns that have been horrible and was worried after reading these reviews but was pleasantly surprised that he turned out to be one of the best drs I've seen.

After reading the previous two comments, I now fully understand why I changed OB/Gyn's 25 years ago when my son was born. He could not be found when I went into Labor, his partner did an emergency C-section after 30 hrs of hard labor. Ended up with a staph infection and had to have a drain tube put into the abdomen. During the whole process, Dr Ludders was uncaring, rough, and had absolutely no bed side manner. He is extremely arrogant and should not be treating women, as he definitely looks down at them. When I changed OB's, the new OB said their was a significant amount of damage done from his lack of care. Having been a nurse in surgery for 20+ years, I find him a sorry excuse for a physician! I hope this saves some women from seeking his care (or lack of it)!

I have been to several gynecologists over the years, both men and women alike. I have NEVER had a worse experience than I did with Dr. Ludders. It was uncomfortable and borderline rough. He didn't explain when he was about to do something and without the heads up it felt like a violation of sorts. And as if his bedside manner (or lack thereof) wasn't bad enough, he lack of interest in my situation was enough to put me over the edge. I had been in pain for weeks and just wanted someone to figure out what was wrong or at least take an interest in doing so. So after several tests I asked him what he thought might be my problem, he simply shrugged and said "I don't know" and that was that. No follow up, no suggestions. Just a brush off, shoulder shrug and a 20 dollar co-pay. No wonder it was so easy to get an appointment.

If you are looking for an OBGYN who is inspired, caring and interested in you as a patient then don't bother with this guy.
