Dr. Daryl Robert Rheuark, MD

I started seeing this doc after he saw me as an inpatient at TMMC and got to the bottom of what other doctors had missed for years. I find him very kind with a great bedside manner and a wonderful staff/audiologist.

Dr Rheuark removed my daughter's thyroid. He put us at ease and was very thoughtful and helpful. Trust him completely.

WARNING: DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR FOR YOUR CHILD !!!!! My grandson had a corn kernel in his ear; went to the ER, but the ER doctor, could not get the kernel out and recommended he see an ENT right away (as the kernel was now pushed further into the canal and the canal was all inflamed). My daughter couldn't get him in to see his primary doctor for an ENT referral, so I made a few phone calls and was able to get in to see this dr. I was grateful to the front office gal, who was so nice and pleasant and accommodating on the phone, she was able to get us in right away as a CASH visit. I did ask, if this dr. accepted children. This dr. had the nerve to say that my grandson was giving him a headache and had a full afternoon - EXCUSE ME, we are paying you CASH for this visit and my grandson deserves to have your equal quality TIME and PATIENCE !! He threw down his ear instruments and said, "we need to put him to sleep to proceed". You will NEVER EVER lay one finger on my… grandson. Yes he was crying and being uncooperative, but he was scared AND YOU WERE NOT MAKING THIS EASY WITH YOUR BAD ATTITUDE !!! I told the office gal, we would never be back, that this was the worse experience ever, so don't bother scheduling the surgery !!! Waste of time and money - which both can not get back. This dr. can only handle senior citizens, which seemed to be the only type of patients waiting in the lobby. Nothing against seniors, as they were sweet with my grandson. THIS DR. WAS THE BIGGEST GROUCH !!!!!!

I asked Dr. Rheuark what my options for treatment were, and he immediately said I should have surgery. He was rushed, mean, and rude. I walked out, got a second opinion, and found out surgery was not my only option. After 1 month, I am doing great! (Without the need for surgery).

Not a good bedside manner (very curt and demeaning), doesn't seem to care much and acts like any issue is just too much time for him to take away from all the other people he has to rush off to and make all the money off the insurance. He doesn't seem to focus on the patient. I was in waiting room and had heard the same thing from a patient sitting next to me while we were waiting. The only reason we were there, was to wrap up our reults, but we both felt this doctor has no empathy whatsoever and cannot be bothered. My advice to him: Retire! This is what gives doctors a bad name. I can see why the main gal the other reviewer speaks of who is hostile. I felt like she was like that because of the doctor. Jsut a robot like doctor, hence a robot (yet effective) front office staff.

I recently dealt with his front office staff. The first woman was very pleasant and joy to speak with. I was transferred to another woman. This woman created a hostile environment and lacked true customer service. I would carry my money elsewhere based on how I was treated in the office. And all this was before I could see the doctor.

Dr. Rheuark and his staff are always courteous and professional. I really appreciate the time he takes during an ofice visit to explain the condition and answer all of my questions.
