Dr. Daryl Victor is a movement disorder specialist and the co-director of the NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital Movement Disorder Center. He did his neurology training at Montefiore Medical Center and spent two years in the Movement Disorder Fellowship at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center. He has been a member of the International Movement Disorder Society for over twenty years. Dr. Victor has also attended the New York Deep Brain Stimulation Society since its inception over a decade ago and he is on the Medical Advisory Board for LifeSpark, which is an organization in the Jewish community dedicated to educating people about Parkinson’s disease and giving them the vigor and hope to move forward.

i did not have a good encounter with dr victor. he kept pushing all kinds of drugs on me for my pain issue without getting to the cause of my problem. i wasted time going to him thinking he was helping me when in fact he was making my health issue worse. i do not recommend.

The DR misdiagnosed me and i kept seeing him thinking he was helping me and all the time he kept pushing new drugs to deal with my health issue. He was not able to help me at the end and i wasted time and money seeing him and my health became worse under his care. i would stay away from dr victor.

Dr Victor is a wonderful caring doctor. However to get an appointment with him is very difficult,sometimes demanding you wait two months before seeing him.

I had been in so much pain when I discovered Dr. Victor. His tests showed among many things that I immediately needed an operation for cervical stenosis. I also have spinal stenosis & because I am unable to have an MRI due to pacemaker/defirbralltor, I had 3 cats scans and the surgeon told me he wouldn't know where to begin to cut me & he was uncomfortable with that scenario.I continued to have sever pain, I could not walk more then a few feet. I felt as if I'd had lost my soul.i went in one day & when he saw me struggling & crying he took my hand walked me to his office and said "we are going to help you" He raised paing med up another 5 mg, ordered me gappabentin which I believe helps with nerve pain and also some muscle relaxsnts.I became a functioning member of society. Had it not been for him only God knows where i'd be now. Did I mention his patient, kind, has a great sense of humor/
