Dr. David Nylas Carlson, MD

I have tried numerous times to schedule an approved Inspire Surgery with Dr Carlson. At every attempt I am met with Please Call Back During Business Hours (even though my call has always been M-T 9:30 - 4:30). When I do reach someone, I am immediately placed on hold or referred to another voicemail.

Very good doctor, attentive, courteous. Listens and takes the time to explain and respond to your questions. Would recommended him to anyone.

Dr. Carlson's office charged me $170 for a Q-tip!!! Dr. Carlson used a Q-tip in one of my ears to remove a small amount of wax so he could see into my ear better. Apparently this is considered a medical procedure. This 'medical procedure' was performed on me without me being informed that this would be an additional cost. What's next...$100 cotton balls?!?

Every single appointment I've had at Dr. Carlson's was amazing. He never once was rude nor acted like he didn't care but just the opposite. I've had bad experiencs at Shands ENT but Dr. Carlson's is by far the best doctor I've had. His staff is very caring and everybody in his office shows they care about the paitents no matter race nor color. I've noticed they treat everyone with the up most respect. I would recommend them to everyone.

I was quite impressed with Dr. Carlson. He's very thorough, asks numerous questions, is interested in the "whole patient's" health, not just the specific health issue of the appointment. He was quite interested in my questions and concerns and the session never seemed rushed. Personally, I'm delighted that he joined Memorial Advanced Surgery!

I do not go to doctors unless I absolutely have to. I was thrilled with the treatment that I received not only from Dr. Carlson, but also from his staff. Very professional and friendly. He took a lot of time to describe my condition and explain to me every aspect of my potential treatment. He gave me options, and listened to my concerns. When I prepared to leave the office, I felt like I needed to give them a hug. So glad I found Dr. Carlson.

This is one doctor I would definitely send my family and friends to see if they had any type of ear, nose or throat problem. He is very professional as well as easy going and easy to talk to. He explains Doctor jargon to you in english and makes sure you understand everything in order to make a difficult decision easy! His bedside manner is a 10, his office personnel is a 10 and ease of getting an appointment is a 10.
