David Roger Chabolla, MD

We visited Dr. Chabolla after my husband’s neurologist moved. I’m always cautious and curious, and ask what I am sure is an inordinate number of questions. Let me just briefly summarize and say Dr. Chabolla was prompt, as considerate and kind as any doctor we’ve encountered, incredibly thorough, impressively knowledgeable, and we couldn’t have been more pleased to be working with him. I don’t get too excited about medical care, but we are thrilled with Dr. Chabolla! And to top it off, his staff is outstanding! So happy our GP recommended him!!

I was a patient of Dr. Chabolla’s from the time he first came to Mayo Clinic. The First day we saw him he talked to my mother, sister, and myself for three hours & told us more about epilepsy than we’d ever heard & I’ve had it all my life, just none of the doctors would speak up & call it what it really was. After we talked to Dr. Chabolla that day we not only knew what had been wrong but why. He said he didn’t know if he could help me but he would try & he did try. In my book he’s the best neurologist in the country & I’ve been to a lot of them but I stayed with him longer than any other that I’ve ever gone to. If I hadn’t moved to CA 5 years ago I’d still be going to him ??

Dr. Chabolla is really wonderful and helped my son tremendously but his staff is terrible. They do not return phone calls in a timely matter if at all.

Dr Chabolla was extremely helpful with my mother and instrumental in getting our family on the right track. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Chabolla treats both my mom and my dad. They both have dementia. Dr. Chabolla and his staff have gone beyond my expectations with the care and additional help that I have needed to get VA assistance and to get them into an assisted living facility. The doctor spends a lot of time with my parents at each appointment and it feels like we're spending time with a family member instead of an acquaintance. I can never thank him enough.
