Dr. David Lawrence Coran, MD

I highly recommend Dr. David Coran for anyone struggling with back pain. When I first came to see him, I could hardly walk due to the severity of my condition. Dr Coran took the time to listen carefully to every detail of my situation and conducted thorough diagnostics. Together, we created a treatment plan that included L5S1 fusion followed by eight weeks of physical therapy twice a week. Fast forward six months, and I am now exercising at the gym three to four days a week and feeling fantastic! I am no longer experiencing back pain when I walk, and my quality of life has significantly improved. Dr. Coran's expertise and attentive care made all the difference in my recovery. I am grateful for his support and highly recommend him to anyone in need of a skilled and compassionate physician.

After 8 years of horrible back pain, I was given a new lease on life! I had 4 back surgeries which Dr. Coran performed the last two. It's been a year since my last surgery and I'm pain free. I can't thank him enough!!

I had lumbar fusion surgery L4, L5 and S1 on 2/26/24. I visited with Dr Coran 3 times prior to deciding to go forward with the surgery. Each visit he was so patient answering all my many questions never making me feel rushed, or that any question was unnecessary. Dr Coran is an excellent surgeon. My surgery was a complete success and I'm so happy that I did it. My entire hospital stay and follow up care has been 5 star. I highly recommend Dr Coran and his entire staff.

Absolutely owe my ability to live life again...to this skilled surgeon, Dr. Coran. THANK YOU! Learning that I had the back of an 80 year at age 59 was overwhelming. I had exhausted all non-invasive options, and he was able to take on my case immediately. I called and left a message for an apointment, and had one scheduled 15 min. later. The MOSH Hospital staff, after surgery was compassionate, careful, and did not rush me out of the hospital (I stayed a week). After a 3 vertebrae fusion, amongst other things that were taken care of, I received support from Dr. Coran, Gina, the office staff, nurses, PT (in and out of the hospital), home care, and laser therapy. great surgeon, he even called me one evening before my surgery and talked to me about the procedure.and his team Gina,and the rest of them very caring and made you very comfortable.My wife and myself have had back surgerys with great results. Thank you

Coran maybe a good surgeon, but lacks the social skills with patients I had a visit with him months ago and he could care less of my condition.

Had an L5-S1 microdiscectomy performed by Coran due to a huge bulging disk. 95-100% pain reduction @ 4 months post opp, extremely pleased with the entire process. Would 100% recommend him for any spine problems that may require surgery. Just be prepared to try conservative methods first.

Dr Coran and Gina did a fantastic jo with my laminectomy. I no longer have pain in my lower back and legs.

If a laminectomy is indicated for your spinal stenosis then Dr. Coran is the surgeon you should have do the procedure!! I had an outstanding outcome!!

Dr. Coran is an excellent surgeon. I've had both a lumbar and a cervical fusion of 3 levels each and recovered well from both. His surgical assistant Gina is also excellent and the care provided by the MOSH hospital was excellent. I would highly recommend Dr. Coran if you are needing help with spinal pain.
