Dr. David Eliot Defren, MD

Dr. Defren treated me like I was his family. I am so grateful for his care. He also took care of my mother when she was hospitalized and she would not be alive today without his care. More than that, he is probably one of the nicest people I've ever met.

My partner would be alive today if Dr. Defren had not been his hospitalist at Cedars-Sinai where Dr. Defren stalled treating him for crypto. They had an oral pediatric treatment and Rex was less than 80 lbs. so they could have given it to him but he was denied it until the last days of his life. He had been suffering from crypto for 6 weeks according to his death certificate. Do not use Defren if you want to live.

Dr Defren is so caring he took time to research everything that can be done to keep me healthy. He spent so much time with me and even visited me at home even though he wasn’t paid by my insurance. He’s one of it not the smartest guy know. I have other doctors but he tops them all. I’m not just a number.

I've been a patient for over 25 years. Nowadays doctors see you so quickly you feel like a number. Some are arrogant. Others just complacent and treat their professions like a money making machine. Never Dr. Defren. He will take his time to listen to you and research everything (and I mean everything) about your care and best of all he will give you so much information about your path to well being. He is by far the most caring of all doctors I have seen in my life. An angel.

He really cares and so rare nowadays doctors are robots like my last all he did was watch the clock and type on the computer.
