Dr. David Charles Dougherty, MD

I switched insurance companies, had to get a new Doctor. I am very glad that I chose Dr . Dougherty. He was very friendly and took his time to go over all of my medical history. The ladies at the reception were also very friendly and efficient.

I have never been treated so rudely. The staff, including the doctors wife, refused my insurance carrier and refused to explain why. Sadly for them, and my self, that their ignorance with the recent health care reform prevented me from obtaining care. They do not except any insurance purchased through the health care exchange. They simply did not believe that my coverage wasn't purchased through the exchange because the card stated that it was a pathway PPO. If they knew better they would know that only a pathway X PPO is purchased through the exchange.

Dr. Dougherty is an arrogant , pompous , self- righteous , egotistical , self- centered individual . He is extremely rude , condescending , uncaring , and has no people skills or bedside manners . Would probably make a very good prison doctor . His staff was friendly and courteous .

He has been caring for my grandmotherm and shes quite stubborn :). He always responds prompty as well as has a great office staff! very pleased!
