Dr. David Appell Fost, MD

My annual appt was due on 8/23/23 since I saw the doc on 8/22/2022, and I called on 8/2 to schedule my annual. I couldn't get an appt till 9/21/23. Ok, so I understand the doc is booked. I called on 8/28/23 to get a refill of my Singular and was denied (in an extraordinarily condescending tone) because "I *told you* when we spoke in May you *could not* have a refill till you saw the doc again". That left me 2 weeks off my med. But it was the doc, NOT ME, that caused the delay. I guess that means that 1. I don't *really* need this med because if they're willing to have me go without it, then it must not be necessary anyway; 2. The staff clearly prioritizes billing over patient care; 3. The doc is clueless about what's going on in his practice. Shame on you Dr. Fost for such poor conduct of your staff. It's your business, and this is "tone from the top".

Ran quite late; couldn't assess scratch test results because antacid drug blocked effects (which means that doctor or nurse didn't read RX listed on patient questionnaire); sent patient to Labcorp for tests and said would contact patient when results available but never did; didn't get back to patient when patient left a message.

Dr. Fost was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly.

Dr. Dave is an amazing man. He had my sons asthma under control in a very timely manner. He has been our allergist for years I would't trust anyone else with my children.

Excellent and totaly knowledgeable in food alleriges. My daughter has peanuts allergy and he clarified so much misinformation I had. I thank God for his expertise!!

His bedside manner with little children is unbelievable! My child fears doctor visits but looks forward to seeing Dr. David...he has so much caring and patience. The office staff is terrific, very efficient and friendly. I get appointments quickly. All of the records are computerized and follow up with reports to our regular pediatrician. I actually look forward to our appointments because I know he will help my child with her asthma and allergies.
