Dr. David Leland Galt, MD

I saw Dr Galt in the emergency room and then later for hip replacement surgery. I found him to be pleasant and easy to talk to. My follow up outpatient appointment was with another doctor . My surgery went well no problems. I’m very pleased with the care I received from Dr Galt.

I found Dr Galt an arrogant man with an impatient personality. He displays a short temper towards any answer except a quick yes or no. I was being examined for a meniscus tear. His "expertise" was only fair. His general attitude can never be accepted and I wonder how this offensive beast can keep his job. Apparently he doesn't understand he is a hired hand. I had to fire him!

I had a longer wait time because there was an emergency surgery he had to perform. I was notified promptly by the staff and was asked to return later in the afternoon since I was from out of town.

Dr. Galt has the absolute worst bedside manner ever. Very impatient in explaining procedures and not receptive to questions. He was demeaning and just plain rude. Seemed to be very bored, robotic and remote...maybe time to retire Dr. Galt !

Dr. Galt was efficient and very knowledgeable. However, he had 'zero' bedside manner. I am quite aware that time is money and patients can be too verbal - but his belittling attitude was a bit over the top.

I would stay as far away from this man as possible,he made a simple operation into me being barely able to walk. I wouldn't go to him for a hang nail,stay clear and you will be better off.

Dr. Galt was pleasant, thoughtful, patient, and in general, very attentive to me and my questions.
