I found Dr. Hannallah at Orthopedic One after looking for another spine specialist for a second opinion on back pain radiating to my hip. Dr. Hannallah was very thorough and thought that my lower back pain radiating into my hip and leg was stemming from something other than my back where as I had been told previously I may need open back surgery. I found him to be very pleasant and thorough. He was the first to order a hip MRI which showed a acute hip joint problem which was the origin of my pain. It was because of Dr. Hannallah's due diligence and his forethought to look further than the obvious was I able to receive a true diagnosis. Teresa Franklin

After experiencing leg numbness and muscles weakness, my internist misdiagnosed my massive disc herniation and prescribed pain pills and an anti-inflammatory on a Friday and told me to come back in a couple of weeks for a follow-up. I decided to get another opinion and when I saw Dr. Hannallah on the following Monday he recognized that my symptoms were advancing too quickly to be a normal herniation and sent me directly to an emergency room. He operated on me the next day performing a laminectomy with fusion and likely prevented me from having permanent leg paralysis. It turns out that I had a rare event called cauda equina syndrome (CES) and after 4 months of physical therapy I am almost back to normal. I highly recommend Dr. Hannallah for his experience, skill, and thoroughness.

I cant believe the exceptional treatment I received from Dr Hannallah and his staff. Dottie took care of all my disability paperwork and I didnt have to do anything. DR Hannallah has a calming presence. Kind and compassionate. I was monitored by Dr Hannallah and his staff after surgery and continued throughout my recovery.I have no pain and resumed my normal life.

I am getting along well after a Major back surgery on Oct. 22. No pain and doing most of my routine activities. Dr. Hannallah had warned this was a big surgery and would be a long recovery. The surgery took 7 hours and I spent four days in the hospital with a two week rehab time. I have recovered very nicely and only needed pain meds for about five days. I had no idea a surgery could go so well. I'm 2 weeks out from a lumbar discectomy and laminectomy and my back feels great. I don't even need therapy and can't wait to get back to woodworking. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Hannallah and Orthopaedic One.
