Dr. David H Henick, MD

In the spring of 2020, I developed a cancerous tumor in my throat. With all the uncertainty involving COVID19 at that time, it was near impossible to find a Doctor willing to see me during all the uncertainty, despite the serious nature of my issue. Fortunately, I put in a call to Dr. David Henick’s office, and amazingly, he arranged to see me the next day despite the COVID19 uncertainties. I had previously called several dozen Practices, and not one Doctor was willing to see me in person at that time. Dr. Henick is an exceptionally gifted Physician, thorough in his examination, and detailed in his treatment. Above all, he is as compassionate of a Physician as you are likely to find. Additionally, Dr. Henick went well above and beyond in securing all various appointments that were instrumental in my treatment, referring me to to several specialists in order to set up a team of Physicians in giving me the greatest chance at recovery. I’d be remiss not to mention that behind any… great Practice is a team of extraordinary assistants who make the office successful. Lisa and Catherine exemplify the professionalism associated with Dr, Henick, going out of their way when guiding you through any and all challenges that might lie ahead. I will forever be grateful to Dr. Henick, Lisa and Catherine - absolute angels during my time of need. Should you be looking for a fine Otolaryngologist, Dr. David Henick would be a wise choice.

I was diagnosed with having an aggressive cancerous tumor in my thyroid and referred to Dr. Heineck for further testing, consultation, and surgery. He is very savvy, makes reliable decisions under pressure and delivers exceptional results. His attention to detail and medical care proficiency is remarkable. I was highly satisfied with his explanation of all my options, procedure process and protocols, and post surgery medical attention. He is highly recommendable, has many years of experience and expertise, and deals with difficult or the most extreme cases.

Dr. Henick performed my sinus surgery and gave me relief from serious sinus infection complications. Surgery seemed easy, the first three weeks of weekly post surgery visits were challenging, but the end result is worth it.

Plagued with severe nasal polyps, I was often unable to breathe, and after consulting with another ENT who would not perform my surgery because it was too complex, I was referred to Dr. Henick. Dr. Henick is a very knowledgeable, skilled and exceptional doctor. His attention to detail and diligent care put him in a league above the rest. I am truly appreciative of Dr. Henick's expertise, professionalism, and most importantly the excellent results I have experienced under his care. If you're looking for an ENT, you won't find better than Dr. Henick.

I was lucky enough to be referred to Dr. Henick. For many years I was told by different doctors about allergy symptoms of my nose and suffered from severe congestion with difficulties of breathing, smelling, and frequent interruptions of sleeping during the night. And even worse I often felt something like a grain of sand rubbing my left eye. Dr. Henick Diagnosed my illness as chronic sinusitis and needed a surgical procedure. Right after the procedure, the symptoms were gone. I could breathe normally and had no more troubles in my eyes. I'm very grateful to Dr. Henick for his expertise and conscientious care with follow ups. Only under his care can I now re-gain a normal life. Dr. Henick wins my respect and trust. And I highly recommend anyone to him. The office staff is wonderful, very cordial, and ready for help in many ways, from scheduling visits, contacting hospital for surgery arrangement and medical tests, locating drug stores that offer compounding services, to assisting… patients in solving disputed medical claims. Lisa in particular manages not only the front desk of the office, but also helps patients with any requests beyond the office when being asked. Dr. Henick is excellent, and the professionalism of his office team is admirable.

Without Dr. Henick’s diagnostic skill and medical care I would not be here to write this review. I have been a patient of his for almost 18 years, and credit him with the fact that I still have a voice. I find Dr. Henick, besides being an extremely competent Physician, to be a very caring man. His administrative and medical staff have always made me feel comfortable during every appointment. I would highly recommend Dr. Henick to anyone who would have the need. He will definitely take good care of you. I am living proof.

Dr. Henick is Awesome! I had been plagued by severe nasal polyps and chronic sinusitis most of my life. I had initially had surgery to remove the polyps over 30 years earlier with another doctor, but the polyps quickly returned. For many years before visiting Dr. Henick I was unable to breathe through my nose, had no sense of smell, was unable to discharge from my nose, had a nose which was twice its normal width as a result of being loaded with polyps, had polyps that were literally projecting from my nostrils, and was unable to enunciate clearly due to sinus blockage. I wound up in the hospital for three days due to cellulitis. Even long before I was at my worst, my now retired general practitioner described my condition as the worst case of polyposis that he had ever seen. I first visited Dr. Henick two years ago and had the surgery less that two weeks after my initial visit. Dr. Henick removed all of the polyps and fixed my deviated septum. The surgery was a great success.… Today, the polyps are gone; I am able to breath normally; my sense of smell has returned; my nose has a normal appearance; and I am able to speak clearly. Because I have a predisposition to develop nasal polyps, I continue to follow up with Dr. Henick on a regular basis, and continue a regular maintenance regimen as directed by Dr. Henick, which contuinue to be successful. I also have a predisposition to develop ear infections; and Dr. Henick regularly removes the wax from my ears which is helpful in preventing infection. I am truly appreciative of Dr. Henick's expertise, pleasant manner, and most of all the excellent results I have experienced under his care. Lisa and the rest of the staff are great too. In conclusion, you cannot do better.

Dr Henick is extremely competent, a super nice guy and has a great bed side manner. Yes there is sometimes a wait in his office but that is because he gives every patient his undivided attention. Moreover he is the doctor to whom other doctors send the complicated cases they cannot handle because he is simply the best. He performed successful sinus surgery on me and was there every step of the way through the recovery process. Simply the best, smart and truly concerned about all his patients.

I was very pleased with the care I received from Dr. Henick. I was suffering from near total nasal congestion due to polyps. I feel that I received excellent care, both pre and post surgery, from Dr. Henick and his staff. There is often a bit of a wait in his office, but it's worth it. I am grateful for how smooth the entire process was in restoring my ability to breathe!

I recently had sinus surgery by Dr. Henick. He is a kind and knowledgeable doctor with a great bedside manner. He made me feel at ease and explained everything to me. He answered all questions I had and his staff was friendly and helpful. Plan on waiting to be seen, but he is worth every minute. I highly recommend him.
