Dr. David Charles Heusinkveld, MD

I really liked being his patient, I started seeing him when he first began practicing. I told friends about him, too. One friend began going to him. She was (still is) a heavy smoker. I figured he would advise her to quit smoking, but he never did. I was surprised. I was always after her to quit smoking since her father had COPD and lived with her. Then one time when I was seeing Dr. H. he did a biopsy, right there in the office, of a small growth on my right forearm. As he stood close, I smelled the strong odor of cigarette smoke on his breath! I later told my friend that perhaps the reason the doc never tells her to quit is because he too was a smoker. She told him that! Not long after that I called to make a new appointment... all booked up. I was never given an appointment again. When I asked, they eventually told me he was cutting back on his practice. Such a lie.

Our family has waited over 28 days for Dr. Heusinkveld to complete his portion of the death certificate in order for the State to issue the official certificates to us. Shame on him!

My family and I for over 20 years, have been cared for by Dr. Heusinkveld .He is an expert diagnostician who knows his patients and their medical history. Careful, practical, and valuable advice.

Dr. Heusinkveld is the supervisor for the NP I see as my PCP, Tamera Pace. This year I have had so many health problems where Dr. Heusinkveld has stepped in to help while I was in the hospital and to see me when Tamera has been out of the office. I cannot say enough about them both! Both of them and their nurses have been attentive as possible in every way. I would recommend both Tamera Pace and Dr. Heusinkveld to anyone seeking a new PCP...even if you feel like you current provider isn't putting you first and taking care of all your needs, then come see Dr. H or Tamera! You will be glad you switched! Also, they have free valet right outside of the front door (how can you beat that)! This entire practice has become like family to me, give them the chance to do the same for you!
