Dr. David W Jackson, DO

I went to doctor Jackson as a patient a few years ago, and what had happened at this doctor's office is a story I still tell people when talking about terrible doctors. Not only did Dr. Jackson try telling me that I didn't know my own LMP, he was also several weeks off on my due date because of this. He never even looked at ultrasounds to confirm the date they had. If we went by the date he was insistent upon, I would have died. When talking about pregnancy brain once (something he can never and will never experience) he smiled and said how it doesn't exist and how it's "just my brain". Plenty of women experience this, and even if there's no medical explanation for it-- that doesn't disqualify it from existing. Plenty of medical things can't be explained. He acts like a jock and his staff is terrible. On several occasions I could hear them hang up the phone with a patient and mock them and make fun of them to one another. Dr. Jackson and his whole office is the epitome of… what is wrong with maternal medicine today. I suggest you go with a midwife, the one I switched to after my experience was kind, compassionate, and listed to me when I spoke. She didn't judge me or put me down. If anyone is reading this, please. Do not put your life and your child's life in this man's hands.

Beautiful doctor and man! He saved my life!

This is.my first pregnancy nothing but a horrible experience everytime I go I'm in the room waiting for at least 25-35 mins when he comes in he is very short and cocky also smerks with questions like I'm stupid and did not educate me on anything very rude with complications I have been having scheduled lab work wrong twice and I'm 23 weeks still haven't found out my babys gender. There office has been billing my insurance wrong iv been receing tons of medical bills. I'm switching doctors and will make sure no one I know goes through this ever.

Dr Jackson seemed to be a good dr. And seemed to be knowledgable until the last couple weeks of the pregnancy when he refused to accurately listen to my wife and do the correct measures when she told him something was not right. At one point of her telling him something was not not right he had a little under his breath chuckle and finally had her get an ultrasound but that was all he would do was a basic ultrasound and a week later we lost our baby girl all because he would not listen and do the proper testing that was necessary

He delivered my child years ago when he had his practice in Stow. He was wonderful! His bedside manner was remarkably wonderful! He let me go totally natural, just like i wanted and it was the best birth experience I ever had!
