I can't say enough good words about Dr David Kattan. My doctors at Facey Medical Group where I had been for 14 years as a patient failed to diagnose ovarian cancer even after repeated visits for 7 months complaining of intestinal pain, shortness of breath, high platelet count. Dr Kattan called for an abdominal CT scan immediately, the first day I had an appointment with him and because of him I am alive today. The ovarian /peritoneal cancer was already stage 3/4 when I was diagnosed, no thanks to Facey Medical Groups inept doctors ( I saw 3 specialist all failed to even order a CT scan or a CA-125 blood test panel). Dr Kattan has been nothing short of amazing during the entire chemo process including the Cedar Sinai hospital stay where he visited me every day. I highly recommend Dr Kattan, not only for his caring bedside manner but also for his exceptional medical skill set.

I have known Dr Kattan for over 18 years but not until this past week did I need his medical help. I went in for one thing and because David is who he is, I came out of that visit with a much better and accurate understanding of what the real issue with me was. He left no stone unturned when it came to tests and led me by the hand to the additional specialists that were needed for "the team" and my diagnosis. He admitted me to the hospital and was there every step of the way with me. He has truly been a Godsend for me and I can't thank him enough for his fortitude, caringness and wherewithall to go the extra distance in order to get a correct diagnosis for me. He is one of the most caring doctors I have known.

Dr. Kattan is an educated and competent physician and I am very glad to be in his care. When I first moved to Los Angeles from New York City, a friend of mine recommended him to me as a general internist. Since I worked in the medical field, I am very particular about my physicians. I expect them to be attentive, inquisitive as well as being thorough in their diagnosis as well as treatment plan. I have found that Dr. Kattan is all of this. Because He is a great doctor, he is can be quite busy on certain days so make sure you call before hand to make an appointment.

I have known and been a patient of Dr. David Kattan for the past 19 years. During the many years, Dr. Kattan has always provided the best possible care whether it was in regards to an accurate diagnosis, medication issues, lab work, orders for special tests, or a referral to another specialist if needed. Dr. Kattan will take the time to answer any questions or concerns that you may have and he is good with follow-up visits as needed. Dr. Kattan is one of the most knowledgeable, dedicated, hardworking and caring doctor that I have ever known. I would highly recommend Dr. David Kattan to anyone that needed a doctor to take care of them.

Horrible practice. I just came from Dr. Kattan, having a 9:30am appt. He waltzed in at 10:30am! Never apologized for 'forgetting'? my appointment. I finally left at 11:10am after sitting on my rear for 2 hrs. (I showed up at 9am to fill out new patient paperwork. If I ran my business like his, I wouldn't have one. I could care less about his patients time. Don't go to him!

I have been going to Dr. Kattan for about 15 years. I find that he has respect for me as a patient. I sometimes feel that he is over concerned about me, but that is good. He will answer my questions, and is very good about followup.
