Dr. David Hayes Leach, MD

Dr. Leach is a fantastic doctor! He recently performed PRK surgery on both of my eyes and I couldn’t be happier. Prior to seeing Dr. Leach, I was informed by another doctor that PRK was the only option for me. I wasn’t convinced and wanted a second opinion. Dr. Leach was highly recommended by the physicians I work with, in addition to my own patients. After multiple thorough exams, he confirmed that PRK was my best option and not to be discouraged. It’s easy to see he truly values his patient’s quality of life both pre and post surgery. His staff, Jackie and Kelsey are also wonderful and made the entire process enjoyable. I am recovering and seeing better than ever!

Tampa Eye Clinic is an exceptionally well-managed, well organized and observably dedicated medical provider. After years of vision difficulties and a long struggle with prescription and non-prescription glasses, Dr. Leach performed Cataract surgeries on both of my eyes and Limbal Relaxing Incisions to correct persistent astigmatism on my left eye. At (almost) seventy years old, I no longer need, use (or even own) eyeglasses or any other vision aid(s). My last eye exam indicated that my vision now is 20/25 - I couldn't have imagined any better results. Dr. Leach is superbly skilled, noticeably courteous and sincerely interested in the well-being of his patients. His calming manners and respectful patience are genuine and deeply comforting. It is quite obvious that his leadership sets a shining example for his staff, as they strive to offer and maintain the highest standard of care my wife and I have experienced in quite a long time.

Wonderful experience. Staff at the Tampa Eye Laser Center was outstanding. the doctor spent as much time , as needed with me to answer all questions. Very detailed eye exam.

Dr. Leach diagnosed a problem I had with my eyes with a easy solution, that no other doctor had discovered. It was a relief not to worry this concern anymore. The staff too were very warm and friendly.

Having eye issues all my life and seeing various physicians for treatment, I must say that Dr. Leach is one of the best I've had. What impressed me was the thoroughness of his examination and his equal thoroughness in explaining his evaluations. I never felt, as I have with other doctors, that he needed to rush to the next patient. He truly made me feel comfortable and cared for.

Dr David Leach is an excellent eye surgeon and I would recommend him to anyone. He and his staff are extremely professional and truly care about your well being. He performs the best comprehensive medical eye examinations. He sees my family and me, and just recently performed LASIK surgery on my daughter who had worn glasses since she was in first grade. She is thrilled with her results and can't stop singing his praises! Take it from me, you will be completely satisfied if you go to Tampa Eye Clinic and see Dr. David Leach and let him and his wonderful staff take care of you and your eyes.

I would definitely recommend Dr Leach to anyone inquiring about Lasik eye surgery and have. His staff was excellent in customer service, courteous, efficient and very professional.
