I was admitted through the emergency room. Dr. Margolis was calming, had a great bedside manner and was extremely professional. I've been home from the hospital almost three weeks and so far my progress is moving forward as Dr. Margolis explained it would. I would highly recommend Dr. Margolis to anyone who has to have a partial hip replacement.

Had three hand surgeries by Dr. Margolis, two of which I wound up with a staff infection. The third surgery was so bad, that I got a very bad infection in my hand two days later that required an emergency fourth surgery. The tendon I had repaired on the first surgery died and had to be removed in the fourth surgery (which was not done by Dr. Margolis). In the third surgery, it was so horrible infected, that all the skin on the inside of my finger died and had to be removed which left me with a horrible open wound. Had to have a PICC line for two weeks just to get the infection under control. Dr. Margolis was very caring and even gave me his phone number if there were any problems, but that does not make up for having to have four hand surgeries.

I have never been treated so poorly by a physicians' office in my life, and that is not hyperbole. They mis-scheduled my appointment -- a proven error on their part -- I was treated rudely by a front office member named Liz. When I called to leave a message for the office manager (Rosemary and Nancy), they sent an autocall for the reminder of my appointment later in the week. Trolled by a professional office?! I was told that this is not how the do business, but the fact of the matter is that is how business was done. I cannot imagine the treatment the physicians offer if they employ the type of careless individuals here.
